Is there any way to make the game refresh the main menu without quitting and restarting the game? It's really frustrating to have to keep rebooting the game just to move one element to the position you want it in. Help appreciated.

Editing achievement progress sound

Is there any way to change the very faint "achievement progress" sound that plays whenever you have the hud notification for the achievement on and a +1 appears over that achievement? Help appreciated

In the "damage numbers" folder add a text file and put this inside of it:

}
Name it "info.vdf", it needs to be a vdf file.

Where can I find weapon script txt files?

deguto get the files you have to extract them from tf/tf2_misc_dir.vpk using gfcscrape, in scripts you'll find compiled .ctx files, to decompile them use vice
using command prompt run:this will decompile all .ctx files in the folder, no need to compile them back since tf2 can handle .txtcd [path to the folder with vice.exe] vice.exe -d -x .txt -k E2NcUkG2 *.ctx
So tl;dr use vice to convert ctx files? got it thanks

I need to edit the crosshairs for the new weapons and update the files for older weapons, where exactly can I find the weapon files? All I could find is ctx files that just show up as gibberish when converted

TholeI dont like the default net settings. it makes me unable to play any projectile class. also it would be nice to see a few more singleplayer tutorials that you need to complete to be able to play competitive. like a rocket jump tutorial, and airstrafing tutorial, and maybe an airshot tutorial for soldier and demo. also you should be able to use a stock version of all unlocks when playing competitive
