sdb is likely not going as the chances of his visa being approved are the same as me shitting popcorn this morning.

We are playing with rising at the moment with the view he will be with us at LAN.

i've been getting some meaty lagg whenever I watch any sort of video on my second monitor and playing video games.

this upsets me because i watch my own stream whilst i stream so i gain +1 viewer

I have a confession everyone, way back when I used to play in Avenue e-Sports with iliketospin he had a secret, one that would change my life forever.

When I arrived back home from work to play another evening of TF2 with my team friends (I call them friends instead of mates because they were friends and not mates) my mood was high, I like playing with this team, it had Stark before he became a toxic gamer that sucked all the happiness from around him. I'd liken him to a Dementor from Harry Potter, but now you can not merely cast a spell to make him go away.

So I popped in to our team speak channel (we had to use TS because the sponsor wouldn't give us mumble and wanted us to be with the rest of their teams) and booted up TF2 to play another round of TF2 for the evening.

The map was badlands last, a classic, we were doing well vs. LMS leading 3-1, our morale was high, unfortunately during the game we were pushed back to our last and forced to defend, and that's when my life changed forever.

You see, spin had a secret, one that he was about to reveal to me. "They have a spy!" he called, I was befuddled, how could he know? So I asked and I regret doing so. "When a spy goes invisible my game lags, doesn't matter where it happens on the map"...

I was distraught, my whole life at that moment was torn apart, was I an asset to the crime? What if this was in an official capacity? Would I be punished for knowing this information? I had just entered in to the dizzying heights of low prem, I didn't want to be removed from something I worked so hard for.

Alas, I have been living with this burden for an age I've now felt the time is right to inform people of what I know.

and because of this everyone has the belief that when he plays with no ping, 30000 fps and 152 hz monitors he will propel TF2 in to the esports status that it deserves.

We've already received a lot of offers for donations to get sdb to LAN, but it will be pretty much pointless as he has to show that the money he gets already is from a stable income, it's basically to make sure that he doesn't come to the UK and stay here.

Because the guy is just a student it makes it more difficult and it creates a pretty delicate situation on trying to get him here.

And as mentioned before, because he's been declined twice already we would literally need a fucking miracle for it to be allowed the third time.

Basically with sdburns visa he has to have the following requirements:
1. At least $2000 in his account. Or enough to afford the trip.
2. He needs to show that the money is his and earned by himself, either through work or from selling a car etc.

Because this criteria want met this is why it was declined. Nymthae has given us a letter from multiplay to include in the next one but it becomes more unlikely to be approved the more you apply.

Also sdburn has had to pay for his tuition fees as well so he doesn't even have the correct amount in his account anymore.

Now couple this with them losing HYS already and therefore weakening the team to some respect and the possibility that one of their best players may not be able to go its no wonder why they all wouldn't want to.

It's very upsetting as I was really enjoying playing demoman again despite my skills dropping to the level of a mid demo/kaidus (banter). But I can understand if these guys want to pack it up as they would feel pretty down without another of their core players, especially as performing well at LAN was the main reason this team was formed.

I think it's going to be close between Secret and LGD, EG might be able to take it but Secret are looking out of this world and LGD are just incredibly solid.

I haven't seen such a strong display of coordination like there is in Secret, their team fights are so incredibly organised sometimes it looks like it's all rehearsed.
