THE KING RETURNS

In light of this I will be changing the name of my ETF2L Open 6v6 team to Evil Geniuses, catch us on Myspace starting next week

As far as I'm aware 1st place was £4,800

A few interesting points:

TF2 now has one two-time world champion team but, due to the ash/lansky situation, only five two-time world champion players.

b4nny is now a two-time world champion on two different classes, neither of which are his traditional role of Demoman. He has made intercontinental i-Series grand finals on THREE different classes.

Unless I'm missing anyone, there are only three players that have made top 3 at all four of the intercontinental i-Series LANs so far; b4nny, shade and KnOxXx. Nobody has made top 2 at all four.

Froyotech at i55 are the first team at an intercontinental i-Series to have won the Grand Finals from the lower bracket; Mixup, Epsilon and last year's 4G all won from the upper.

Froyotech have lost one Bo3 across two intercontinental LANs.

Six non-Froyotech players have reached the Grand Finals more than once - Zebbosai, ryb, Tek, KnOxXx, basH and Mike. Of these, all have made it twice each. (Zebbo and ryb with TCM and nR, Tek with Epsilon and nR, KnOxXx, basH and Mike with Epsilon both times)

And, lastly: there were only three returning team names from i52 at i55, none of which have kept their full 6-man roster from the previous year. These are Froyotech, keeping 5 players, Danger Dogs who have kept 2 and Reason Gaming, who have kept none.
