dashnerHad a lot of fun watching this last year. My favourite was watching Cosmo doing Wind Waker, glad he's back to do it again.

It's HD which is actually a relatively different run, due to glitch patching. You wouldn't think it was that different based on the record times (I think HD is actually shorter at WR right now, ZSR is down so I can't confirm) or think it was longer based on patched storage and stuff but Swift Sail and shortened Triforce make up for it. Should be a fun run to watch.

I'm pretty excited for the TAS block, TMR got a visa so he's going to run Darkwing Duck and Battletoads, Trihex is finally doing a marathon run of Yoshi's Island, Meatboy run, AwfulGDQ, really too many to list

#525 Do you like the song above? in Music, Movies, TV

Pretty good, I'm into older rap recently anyways

I've been watching Cowboy Bebop so I'm regaining an appreciation for the Jazz and Blues I grew up on

fourGetawhaleIt's double the resolution (roughly) of 1080p so it's not the end of the world.
It's actually twice as tall and twice as wide which means that it has 4 times more pixels per frame. I think this is quiet a lot!

have you tried turning up your volume?

#47 Community CEVO Vote in TF2 General Discussion

On the topic of "I dont wanna pay dolla" - I've been in two seasons so far, competitively. The first one was UGC, and I remember maybe one match where we didn't get mad about some bullshit the opposing team tried to pull on us - whether it was fulltime heavies, playing like idiots, trying to get the FFW, or just plain not showing up. Last season I moved to ESEA, and I distinctly remember only one match where I legitimately got mad about the other team - and the week one client bullshit had a lot to do with what happened, so I'm not as mad about what happened in the end as I was back then.

Putting money into the equation changes your mindset immensely - suddenly you are invested in it, and pulling bullshit that could get your match overturned seems like a much worse idea because you've actually put more than your time into the ring. I really don't want to see a free division/open to be free. Leave that to UGC and make it the learning grounds it already is.

#5 Critical Hit! - A TF2 Sniper Fragmovie by dSoul in TF2 General Discussion

Some nice frags but the jitter was distracting and made it hard to tell whether some of the sections were legitimate killstreaks or a collection of unconnected average headshots.

I still liked it tho

A nice warm wool beanie
Some books about Grant Achatz and Ferran Andria, two of my favorite modern chefs
40 bucks
A can of Trader Joes chocolate-covered toffeed espresso bits aka the most delicious candy on the planet
Haven't seen my dad's side of the family yet or gotten any cards so I might have more coming

#76 Hacker on TF2 Lobby? in TF2 General Discussion
foreverWell I'm not going to argue, if you guys are right then I apologize. All I've seen so far is a vac ban for black ops or whatever. I haven't seen a tf2 ban on him which is why I presumed it was all allegations.

So all I've seen is 1 VAC ban from black ops. (None for TF2)

And how do people know the source of ddos attacks, speculation? (Did he conveniently admit to ddosing or something? Because he seems to be claiming he hasn't done anything like that)

I didn't say people had to like him, I just literally haven't seen anyone prove anything despite the number of people calling me stupid and posting anyway.

#122 MLG in TF2 General Discussion
maidoswith the exception of mirelin i dont know any other guys who are tallking with the mlg staff. Is it really wise idea to have random ppl talking to mlg. Wouldnt it better to assign community/league leaders like enigma, nahanni, kalkin, killing, canfo, sonnyblack, permzilla to discuss regarding the rules, whitelist etc who knows how a league operaties and has better insight. Example canfo ran esa ladder tf2 tournament and i think having him to discuss with mlg is better than hanving random players who ppossibly never played ladder league before to discuss with mlg ppl

I agree that I'd like to see high-level players participating here, but it doesn't seem like any of them are making an effort to in the first place. I recognize quite a few of the names as people who have been around the scene for a while (most of them being NA as opposed to the EU people you're listing), and I'd personally trust their judgement - I also linked the ESEA configs to one of them as tentative rules, so as far as I'm aware it's going to be close to what we're familiar with. Even then, I'd like to see the top players actively involving themselves in this, but I'm afraid it's just going to be cast aside because it's not the popular league and no one in invite is going to care enough to help it flourish.

Also, having admins from a potential rival involve themselves seems like a really bad idea IMO.

#14 Announcing justplay.tf, servers, tournament & more in TF2 General Discussion

I'm assuming these are a work in progress, but instant respawn and timer/leaderboards on the surf server could be kind of important

Also forcing stalemate on time end
