Loot boxes definitively linked gambling addiction

I don't think Valve will change much as long as they can make (loads of) money from it. Right now it looks like the only thing that can stop Valve from supporting loot boxes are the governments of each country. Three years ago Valve had to shut down the loot boxes in the Netherlands and Belgium because there's a Betting and Gaming Act against it. We can still find loot boxes but we can't open or trade them:

Psyonix/Epic also removed the loot boxes in Rocket League like 1.5 years ago, replacing them with blueprints so you can always see what you are getting.

I think you're underestimating the amount of similar comments he's gotten not only on all his YouTube vids, but also mails, tweets or his twitch chat. These comments are probably mostly posted by children, they don't realize the impact it has on ster (which is fair) but I feel like that's also a reason he made this vid. It sounds like it's a big deal to him and I can understand the like-dislike ratio doesn't mean everything when the videos he spend loads of time on gets less views than his tf2 vids and has too many 'why aren't you playing tf2' related comments.
