i am of the opinion that any community that allows minors to regularly interact with adults without the supervision of their parents is always going to lead to some type of grooming. online games are particularly bad however because growing up with videogames as one of your main hobbies is very likely going to rob you of many important social development experiences and lead to the type of arrested development/socially stunted people who will end up forming inappropriate relationships with the minors in said community because they "can relate to them" and they struggle to form close bonds with people their age due to spending their formative years online. if you look at the rate of esports players getting in trouble for grooming compared to any irl hobby this unfortunate fact becomes impossible to ignore. the only real solution would be to limit these communities to 18+ which would be next to impossible to enforce

logged in on three rostered accounts in order to forfeit another team by pretending 5 of us joined the server for the match
mahrezIf I gain no frames when changing the resolution in the benchmark does that mean there's no gain in any other situation, basically asking if there's cases other than the benchmark demo where the lower resolution is helpful.
CPU: I5-13500H
GPU: RTX 4060
Memory: 16GB 5200Mhz
lowering your resolution helps if you have a really weak gpu and shouldnt make much of a difference normally. some people claim lower resolutions have less input delay
unban all items except scout unlocks and engineer unlocks
i was really drunk and equipped the mantreads on endif and just watched a 1500 elo player try to bounce me up in to the air for like 20 minutes straight. didnt even shoot at him just ran around and made it hard for him to hit me. my throat hurt from laughing and i still think about it sometiems.
"my friend sent a NSFW image to a (very malicious might I add) 16 year old and he got him banned!"
brodyidk how long since you last played but the culture of people adding up in a public mge server and just playing whoever all day is definitely a relic of the pre-discord era. gotta find a homie to play against
6pm to midnight PST the na mge servers always have like 8+ people in them
i have never met an east coast tf2 player
oh boy yearly halloween slop
i think i will get banned if i comment on this topic
GOOSE_THE_DUCKRebelI'm fine with this if they also ban other movement input automation scripts such as null movement and crouch jump.
People should have to press all the keys for movement.
I realize this game isn't cs, but my views align with this post from Valve
https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/730/view/6500469346429600836
That Valve post was in reference to null movement. I think c-taps are closer related to jump throw binds than null movement as null movement is something you cant do in game without commands, but c-taps are.
The problem is that Valve made jump throws easier when porting to CS 2. Making the jump throw insanely easier for players of ALL skill levels. C-taps which is a helpful tool to introduce newer players to comp have not been made easier and the barrier to entry is even higher to enter comp and play soldier.
i think setting up external scripts and class files and such actually raises the barrier more than learning a timing based in game mechanic.
learning ctapping was easy enough that i never felt like i needed to use a script. i dont think they should be banned.
how dio i get better at ammomod whithout using the original (i dont like how the viewmodel looks anymore)
teksziSo when are we also going to hold those accountable in his inner circles who have been shielding him all this time from bans? They are just as involved as him, cheaters or not imo. No one can convince me they did not know anything for so many seasons.
i think the idea that a cheater being on a team means everyone else is in on it is a bit of a stretch. i am sure it has happened before but how would you even go about proving it?
