What can I say about BLANC?
For starters, they all have an incredible competitive drive and will challenge each other to be 100% every scrim, every night. They are always focused on the task at hand. This was not something anyone needed explaining: they want to win, and figure out the best way to win / why they aren't winning. On that note, it's extremely important you understand that there is no bullshit / toxicity here. We made the team back in S20 and the Mumble environment has always been one that facilitates learning and keeping a level head on everyone's shoulder. Good times are good, and bad times are also good. Short term memory (in "bad situations") is something I'm most proud of in each and every one of my teammates.
Crasian is a ridiculous Soldier, as many already know. Whether it's Shotgun or Gunboats, he knows how to do his job and do it well. From a maincalling aspect, he has made tons of progress from the early days of S20 and he'd be even further in his development if he hadn't missed the first couple weeks of S21. The only things "holding him back" (maybe "weaknesses" is a better term) are being able to control his anger / stress - he can get a little loud in heated moments, and his own self - you'll understand when you hear about what he did at the gym today. Once these hurdles are cleared it's really damn smooth sailing for him.
SpaceCadet is extremely loyal and always puts the team first. You'd be hard-pressed to find someone as dedicated and caring about the TEAM in this community. But of course, he works on his own game, too. He frags well, comms well, and cares well. He's a great listener and is always watching his own demos and of the team to figure out where we can improve on. Space is very well-rounded as a player and teammate, there's not much else to say. The next step up in his game will be getting unpredictable (less Medic focus), and perfecting his jumps.
Muse caught my eye back in S18 and picking him up was one of the best decisions I've ever made for any teammate ever. Muse has put up some downright insane performances over the seasons, and he sort of has his own clckwrk rage mechanic where the angrier he gets the harder he frags. It's a controlled anger, and I've watched him become more selfless every week. Like Space, he possesses a team-first mentality, and constantly urges the team to get out of our comfort zone. The one area he needs work on is his confidence. Confidence in his team's playcalling, and confidence in himself to be able to follow up on those calls. Watch out for him, he's going places (but aren't they all).
Radeon as my "replacement" is a strong upgrade to the mediocre and inconsistent play I offered the last 2 seasons. He's got prior chemistry with Crasian, plus is also just as hungry as the rest of them and that's awesome. I was lax in doing review nights due to the real life (schedule) shenanigans the team had to struggle with last season but rest assured radeon will enforce them, and often. The rest of the these guys acknowledge reviews need to be more frequent, another testament to their drive.
Tryout for these wonderful gamers, they have a solid base to work from and are only going to get better with more time and commitment. Good luck, boys. You know I'll be cheering for you all all the way from Hong Kong every step of the way.

This was good, but nothing will ever top Classic Mixup vs. The Mighty Ducks in S11's regular season finale.
That was the highest level display of any offclassing chicanery the world has ever seen.
trippawhat is this new scheduling system ESEA
Really dumb how they essentially random 12 matches. I miss the good ol' days when it was only 6...

S10 Classic Mixup: enigma, moose (AKA dabes), TLR, relic, Platinum, harbleu
S11 srsly br0: Yz50 / oPlaiD / boomer / blaze / dummy / mesr
Also Platinum's Pocket during S11 Mixup was something magical.
Slin's Minesweeper Squad is the best team name (and tag) in Open.
That is all.
Excellent highlights from an excellent season thus far.
My brain says Ascent, but my heart says EVL.
5-3 EVL
Best season of Invite since S10, and only because that's as far back my history / memory goes.
I may be a Grape fan but his Spy play infuriates me as a Medic..
cookiejakeplay of the season goes to crasian on pyro tonight
And to think his arm isn't even fully healed yet.
Also how can Crasian's best play not be from Heavy. He's the best Heavy.
