Traps aren’t gay. At least, liking them isn’t inherently gay, though current heteronormativity would suggest that most traps are they themselves gay. Now that I think about it, given the current state of gender politics, we should probably as a culture acknowledge that the term “trap” is something of a blanket term that could apply to a transwoman or a man in drag. I guess that what I’m trying to say is that neither liking traps nor traps themselves are necessarily gay, and even if it was, who are we to judge the way others express love for one another?
