Steph's been a sub of mine for over a year, she's pretty active in Discord and all that. I stand by her and support her 1000%, as I do with any and all trans members of my community, or gay members, or non-binary, or members of different ethnicities. You know - people. Is she perfect? No of course not, nobody is. But for a 17-year-old kid, I think she does pretty well. And she's actually gone through some pretty tough shit and many hurdles in an attempt to get shit right with her self-identity, at a relatively young age. I'm proud of her.
I'll do whatever I can to remind these useless shitty young kids that they are 100% on their own, and that absolutely nobody supports or likes them or their toxic attitudes towards people. I'd love to see them try to harass people like this in person, but they never will. They need that keyboard, you know how it is. It makes them invincible.
I do still see lots of transphobia and jokes from people in this community that I otherwise like. And I don't mean kids, I mean people in their 20's. Not going to name names, but it's 2018 - time to grow up guys.
These kids posted that Steph is in my Steam group in that one screenshot, I guess because it's still 2015 to them and they think getawhale is still a good joke on TFTV. But I'll gladly stand here and let you know that my stream and community has a zero tolerance for hate speech, which especially includes homophobic and transphobic jokes or language. We welcome good people regardless of who or what they may be, folks from all over the LGBTQ spectrum, and the atmosphere is 100% friendly to all decent people. We don't welcome idiotic kids who still haven't grown up and just want to make people rage. I welcome others to take the same stance. That's about it.
