The only thing that irks me about this whole situation is the romanticist sentiment for Gamestop some people seem to be putting up. I distinctly remember Gamestop as the bad guy when it came to video game retailers, with most people looking forward to them going bankrupt.

With that being said, I'm swept off my feet with what's happening. A class revolt not in the form of a riot or an online petition, but an online community coordinating to exploit the market the same way wall street does. This is not something I think anyone pre-internet could have even fathomed taking place. On top of that you have people from all ends of the political spectrum coming together against Robinhood's decision to stop day-traders from buying GME, on the basis that equality means equal rights to exploit the system. This is history in the making.

^ Sorry but the argument being made here is precisely that if we all were to suddenly stop tipping, then the underlying structural problems which the act of tipping itself prevents would reveal themselves to be unethical and unpragmatic. Looking at this from an economic perspective only (ignoring the very real situation of many restaurant employees facing sub-standard to downright unacceptable working conditions), we have a system wherein employees are dealing with a less than minimum wage at face-value, and this problem is not solved, but is actually made perpetual through the belief that tipping will make up for it. The act of tipping covers up, masks, a much deeper serious structural problem (read: exploitation.)

At the risk of taking the bait, PC movements which actively try to change language like this turn out to be much more Orwellian than the terms they try to change are subversive. Yes, some terms will have very negative connotations and/or etymologies. but a judge of one's character and actions ought not to begin and end with the language/vocabulary they are born into, and the fix thereafter is not to try to 'fix' the language itself.

With a low sens, elbow pivot for big general changes in aim (turning around 180, doing huge flicks, etc), wrist pivot for smaller more precise adjustments.

Also I'm just remembering. For fans of SAW 85-92, do check out RX-101's album, Dopamine. Back in the day, people thought RX-101 was another RDJ alias just because of how accurately he could mimic Aphex's style. I think Dopamine is the closest we could ever get to a SAW Vol. 3.
