Another Milan Lft thread?

I'm liking this new update just because the netcode doesn't feel near as shitty. I think it feels pretty good now and I'm not having rockets/rails/nailgun do no damage when I see the shots hitting enemy gamers. Also the new maps are very aesthetically pleasing. Doom Guy is also pretty fun. He runs at like a million miles an hour with his ability.

I don't think the new duel mode is near as good as classic duel but it's fun to play with friends who haven't played much Quake before. I'm a pretty shit duel player but if I play newer players to Quake in Quake Live I can roll them pretty hard without even chasing frags because they just put themselves in bad spots without realizing it. With the new mode sometimes I'll lose a few champions or a round. They should still have a classic duel mode though.

If I were you i'd just save up money and build a better computer and then get a 144hz monitor. If you can barely get 120 fps or get it consistently it's probably not worth it. You could look on craigslist for a cheap crt though. Most of them run at 85hz and a lot can run even higher. Mine will do 180hz on a low res.

Go to thrift stores and electronic recycling stores and get like 20 wmo/intellimice.

The driver works exactly the same on windows 8-10 as it does on 7. You just can't replicate the enhance pointer precision accel with it. It's a shit accel curve anyway though.

Just use the povohat accel driver with high accel and use a low sens. That way you'd be able to have a low sens for tracking and you'd be able to do fast flicks and rocket jumps still.

I'm pretty sure it's for Quakecon. The only Tf2 players I can think of who are playing are Carnage, Botmode, and Sen. Carnage is playing in Duel and Sacrifice and Botmode and Sen are playing in Sacrifice.

I've never had a bad experience with him. His dm is pretty good too.

What fixed my attitude problems and tilting was grinding Quake duel as a brand new Quake duel player and getting rolled almost every game for 2 months straight. Tilting and being mad also made my decision making worse which led to me losing harder.

Once you realize that no stat matters besides game/round wins it makes it a lot easier to play. Realizing that your teammates actions are completely out of your control helps a lot too. Just focus on your own play and try to help your team the best you can.

62 hours. I have awful insomnia and struggle to sleep for more than 4 hours most nights anyway though. Wouldn't recommend. It feels like you're dying and your brain has 500 ping when you don't sleep for that long.

Really fun to play pugs with. Also a good Soldier.

Mute is the best.
