#13 live gunman kills reporter then himself in Off Topic

Have they confirmed his motive? Last I heard he was let go from that news station, I also heard from someone else that the female reporter said something racist so he shot her.

I watched the video on mute, and it didn't really fuck me up until the camera just fell to the floor. That was the part that just shook me.

MightyYou guys have got to understand that despite TF2 having a great competitive community, it's still one of the most casual games ever.

If you doubt me, then go ahead and take a look at TF2's reddit.
The comp TF2 community is in reality very small when compared to the TF2 playerbase. How many times do you run into comp players outside of lobbies/scrims/matches? Probably not very many.

Any valve pub will contain at least 2 steel/silver HL players who think they are good. Its really easy to spot them to.

ObiOnly age restriction would be for drinking. If you're under 18, I'll need your parents signature.

Any update on when y'all need the prepayment/ have a payment system set up?

Hidi will set that up when she's back.

GetawhaleYo I'm thinking of flying up for the weekend

Do it, you and dreamboat can cast if he makes it

YipyapperDamn, if it starts on the 5th then I might not be able to go, I move into residence on the 6th :(

If its getting home late you're worried about I highly doubt we'll be there super late, maximum time we have is 8 hours with the party option I believe. So a start time around 12 or 1 would end us at about 8-9, if you forego an evening out you would probably be fine. Theres people who will also have to commute back home that probably wont want to stay super late either.

ThickneySo what's going on in terms of $$

I'll know more when Hidi is back, but from what I know, prepayment will be $25 a person or so, this ensures people attending, covers costs for hosting and potentially prizes?

Luc made a good point to me where people should just pay for their own PC, but the more PC's we need, the bigger deposit I'd have to pay.
