Tobs in prem. Can't wait for mama tobs to sabotage a prem official like one of our high officials back in S20.

#40 Gamers Assembly LAN confirmed, signups open in News

Kane and I are thinking about going/making a team, if the whole thing doesn't get too expensive.
Anyone have any tips on accomodation? It seems like there's only one hostel in town and that one's already fully booked? Is it possible to sleep on a floor somewhere?

Also Tea please check your PMs. Pls respond.

lol_goatSchalalaaLeopold FC660M maybe? Literally 60% + Arrows and Ins/Del

Looks literally perfect. Thanks mate.

Np, if you plan on changing your keycaps you should check up on Leopolds non standard spacebar and the smaller right shift which is the same size as a left shift.

Edit: Just saw this 2015 edition which apparently has a standard spacebar and other slight improvements.

omnificSplitBrimstoneZowie FK 2 isn't on there, but can I just assume it's a FK 1 bit smaller?
Yes, here's a graphic.

Is there a smaller mouse that zowie makes?

#10 Selling ZOWIE EC1-A & EC2-A in Hardware

The package arrived yesterday. Tested it in scrims and dm, so far it looks like another solid zowie mouse.

Comparing it to the older ec2-evo:

  • They improved the scroll wheel. It now has 24 steps and they are more pronounced. It flows better, and the middle click feels more solid.
  • The coating is taken from the FK1, imo it's an improvement.
  • The 3310 sensor has a higher max. tracking speed than the old sensor, you are gonna have to flick very fast to reach the malfunction speed now.(used to happen to me on my ec2-evo when i flicked backwards to rj)
  • They apparently addressed the clicklatency problems. (Haven't tested this myself. scroll down here: http://www.esreality.com/post/2703373/zowie-gear-releases-ec1-a-and-ec2-a/)

Probably gonna switch to it. Pretty satisfied for 45 € including shipping.(Shipped right away the next morning, took 3 workdays to arrive)

On top of that you get to talk to Forsaken about mice which is a nice experience.

10/10 would recommend.

That system is completely useless.
It's like reverse music DRM. I generate the data so I can manipulate it. Instead of plugging your mouse in you just feed it data that is consistent with the manipulated packets. There are only two was to prevent that:
1. A tamper-proof mouse with authentification and that's not going to happen or
2. trusted supervision (e.g. LAN) and in that case and in that case the hardware becomes unnecessary.

Completely agree with you on those points. People were complaining a lot about the implementation of his idea aswell. I linked it because there are a few paragraphs in there that talk about how hacks are made and how you catch them, not because I think his idea is great. There is probably a reason Intel stopped working on the idea.

kaidusDoes etf2l know something the rest of the world doesn't? I find it really hard to believe ETF2L has some method at their disposal that cannot be learned of/obtained through some other medium on the internet...

They probably don't. But who knows, there is a lot of pretty nieche info on tf2 stuff that only a handfull of people know about. It's not that far fetched that they have a few tricks up their sleeves in terms of taking apart demos and looking at them.
But even if the info is avialable somewhere else. Releasing info on how you caught the specific cheat that one player was using is just making it way too easy for cheat makers imo. The way it is now they at least have to find out themselves where they get caught.

botmodeexplain why I'm actually curious

I understand that there are more resources readily available for them to use but just because there is a library down the road from my house doesn't mean I'm going to read a book

just because you are not gonna read the books does not mean some guy who isn't actually retarded is not going to. that's the point. you focusing on sideshow calling them dumb and then somehow coming to your conclusion just shows that you have no idea what you are talking about. just stop digging your own grave. try and actually think how these cheats are made. if you keep giving the programmers info on how not to get caught then you will never stay ahead in the race.
if you are actually interested, i read this a few weeks ago, it's not the same as our anti cheat team but it highlights the arms race between cheat makers and anti-cheat makers pretty well.

edit: forgot the link
edit2: yea that second post actually convinced me that you are either too dumb or just baiting. have fun.

botmodeif these players are too stupid to learn how to hide their hacks what makes you think they'll look at AC posts to learn how to hide their hacks?

this is the most retarded argument i have seen someone bring up in all of these discussions

#8 Random Invisible Props/World Objects/Players in Q/A Help
SplitMy bad then, I looked through a few pages but didn't notice any other threads at the time. I'm running viewmodel_fov 0 at the moment which I'm assuming would be a fine value. I just read and tested viewmodel_fov 0.01, which does appear to remove tracers and pyro flames. However I'm unsure of if that would cause the same issues as viewmodel_fov 360.

Viewmodel_fov 0.01 has been working for weeks without any problems for me in dm/scrims/pubs. Joined a mge server yesterday and it almost instantly fucked up again.

Since the this issue started popping up I've also been having a lot of noreg/input lag issues. Anyone else having similar problems? Game just feels like shit and a lot of times people are right in my face and stop moving/strafe into walls and even the most aligned shot can do 30 dmg or sometimes even nothing, as if the game was registering the shot way too late.
Maybe I just got uber shit and I'm completely delusional... who knows.

#12 A little chat about rules and sportsmanship in TF2 General Discussion
DavidTheWin_KermitWhat about something like 4 points for a default win instead of 6?
It's still 4 points for a win they probably didn't deserve. A team that would go to these lengths would take 4 guaranteed points over risking 0.

And this way a team that's gonna loose anyways can fuck their opponent out of 2 points by just ff'ing. Bad idea imo.

Don't scrim these idiots.
Wanted to play badlands because we had an official on it the next day. They wanna do logjam(week 3-4) and promise us badlands as a second map. Then they loose (pretty fast). And just leave us without getting to scrim badlands.

They are probably gonna end up in the bottom of High anyways so I really don't understand why they want these points so bad. Or they are doing it just because they can...which I think is what's happening here.
Anyways. Get good you shitters, or try to, because I'm gonna check your logs and make sure every team you scrim knows how aids you are.
