#8 Help With Dual Monitors in Hardware
burntfishTone-PotI had an issue like that with my 144hz, what i did to fix it was use the dvi cable instead of HDMII'm using a DVI for my main monitor, while my second is using an HDMI cable. My GPU doesn't support 2 DVI's though.

As a note, you need DVI-D to run 120 Hz. I know my monitor didn't run at 120 Hz until I changed the cable :P

#52 HRG LAN Fundraiser in TF2 General Discussion
slinkyI love how people are getting mad at HRG *NOW* for asking for donations when multiple teams for multiple season have been asking for the community to send them to Dallas season after season.

It's more that they have a sponsor and are paying out of their own pockets to stay an additional week at i49. They could've used those funds to pay for the LAN expenses.

Dougr4ptureedit: i'm an idiot

Also that new symbol not only looks like the TF2 logo and the broadcast symbol, but also kind of looks like a control point.
TF2 logo is a control point :P

That's what I thought at first, only later did the TF2 logo kick in for me.

#304 i46 documentary in TF2 General Discussion
rapscallioneA lot of people brought up the length of the doc- for me, 35 minutes out of four days of volunteer work is quite long. I've shot 5 straight 16 hour days to produce an 8 minute video. The amount of footage that's unusable after you've decided the story that you want to tell is much more than you think it is.

@LuckyLuke- how exactly did you shoot for 50 fps? For frag vids, sure, but that's a really strange frame rate for live action footage. What gear were you running for this?

It also becomes harder and harder the longer the work is. The length of the video and the amount of time spent working on it are related exponentially

#4 Movie/Recording demo, Halloween mode? in Q/A Help
-Mike-I'm pretty sure I was. The demo date says it was June 24th. The fullmoon for tf2 lasts 3 days, 1 day before, day of, and day after. And the 23rd of June was a full moon.

:\

Should be showing up. I just loaded up a cursed loadout demo and it's showing up for me.

Demos will show what the person was wearing at the time.

You have to record the demo during a full moon while wearing the cursed items for them to show up in a demo.

#44 Lawena v4.0 is out. in Videos
deadmau5RawrSpoonI'm not really sure what you mean by choppy killfeed. It's a static image that has no transition and appears and disappears immediatelyI mean... they look too compressed and you have to watch the video on fullscreen to read the killfeed

This has everything to do with the font used and YouTube resizing

deadmau5I've seen a lot of videos with choppy killfeeds lately, is it because of this new version or another recording tool? I always used v3.0 but for some reason tf2 wont start :/

#17 Making a roamer based frag video, need demos. in TF2 General Discussion
flippersvilewhat if you're a pocket that loves to abandon your medic?
no, it just defeats the purpose.

Unless you're having visible health (generally a nono in editing), it's almost impossible to tell the difference in a finished video.

lamefxAre there any plans to promote I49 to the larger TF2 or gaming audience at all?

Might be a good idea to submit a tip to The Penny Arcade Report. They might do a more in-depth look at our fantastic community, given that we've funded two teams to go to insomnia two years running AND we've given tons of moneys for both Tip of the Hats and the ghos7 fundraising drive.
