#8 Quick Fix? in TF2 General Discussion

It should be noted that there's no such thing as building with this thing. You build at max rate even if you're healing a half-overhealed player.

#24 Frag Video in TF2 General Discussion

Hitsounds aren't bad if you sync them to music. Which you didn't do. I'd leave out the HUD if you aren't focusing on showing health or in rare cases ammo, and even then I'd leave out all the elements of the HUD except for the health or ammo.

#144 not just map tweaks, weapons too in TF2 General Discussion
wareyato make damage breakpoints inconsistent

which is kinda gay imo

Man, back when I was a pubstar spy main I'd be like "I can afford to take a melee to get a stab on this other person" but then bam, 71 damage noncrit melee. :c

It also makes melee battles a roll of the dice. One person can hit the other four times and not get a kill while the other hits three and gets a kill >_<

#7 GTA5 gameplay trailer in Off Topic

I might actually pick this up once I'm done with Saints Row IV, I'm impressed.

puddddBlueberryVillainHow about it takes 110 metal to build a mini? Thus an engie can't drop 2 without hitting up some sort of ammo. They can just pick up the metal bits from the old one that just was destroyed.

Which means they have to go to where the mini was destroyed to get enough metal to build another one, which is putting them in harm's way.

behavior changed with steampipe update.

You're the best, I was wondering how to get green screen again.

#102 Comp.tf - A competitive tf2 wiki? in Projects

Something I've noticed is a large amount of stubs covering stuff that can be mentioned in the glossary. Please refrain from making short articles with just a definition. Define them in the glossary if they aren't already there.

#97 Comp.tf - A competitive tf2 wiki? in Projects

Please remember to keep class summary pages in third person. Second person is fine for the more in-depth articles but it reads horribly in class summary.

I've been going through all the pages I can find doing grammar corrections.

#67 Comp.tf - A competitive tf2 wiki? in Projects
ladygrayyIf this takes off and becomes even half as great as the Liquipedia, then we've done a great service, not only to ourselves but to future TF2 esports gamers.

I think the major reason to use comp.tf over the official wiki is pure motivation of comp players to add to the wiki. It's something we can call our own rather than just contribute to the already existing wiki. That said, I do think the official wiki should have all of this eventually.

#53 Comp.tf - A competitive tf2 wiki? in Projects

We should have a glossary of commonly used terms in competitive. Things such as lit, flank, combo, etc.

If we're having individual map pages, a list of commonly used terms for areas of maps should also be included.
