AlfieFantasy, the guy who made the newer ETF2L /div plugin is working with someone to create a demoman race mod, first mid wins. Not sure how the progress goes on that though.

Atm the development is stalled because he's busy with all the new tf2pickup stuff. Once he's done we'll get back on track with it. As of now it's very usable, still not as "competitive" as we would like but it already does an amazing job at practising and racing 1 on 1 :)

umpawhat do i have to change to turn them on?

Go in tf2 advanced options and tick the box that says something about the 3D class models.

Note: it will only show up in the spy disguise status, like the old class image

The fences are changed for visual reasons - while transparency may be desirable it also creates other problems. In g6 I've opened it up more, so I hope this feels more balanced.

What do you think about the new rooftop near two - do you think it seems balanced or is it too much of a strongpoint?

To be honest I loved the changes on second specially on g6. It could use some small tweaks like the make the stairs a bit wider and not so clumsy to climb up an make the same stair entrance a bit taller. Also another visual for that kind of window with a X inside, as of now it looks like you can shoot through it, which is a bit misleading :P
EDIT: Looks like map had a texture bug, now I can see the wired fence texture, nevermind :P

Regarding mid, I'm not really a big fan of it, I think it favors scouts too much on midfights as it makes both medic and demo (usually the ones who stay by the area around shack) too exposed by the lack of view into kitchen. They can't predict it coming and call for support from the team, making it very easy to get picked on crucial moments.
Just my 2 cents :)

Problem is there is no way to replace the health cross image with another file besides replacing the one already used, which implies that it won't work on sv_pure servers :/
It works on pure, but no one knows for how long. Its worked for a while now though.

I'm not talking about the "exploit" broesel found out. I'm talking about replacing existing .vtf files not adding new ones

skynetsatellite013For the class selection menu, if you are going to use stylized icons I'd prefer the official icons like the ones on the class tokens. In order for icons to be iconic (i.e. to work), they have to be consistent. If everyone used their own different logos or icons for the same thing in the name of creativity people would just get confused. It's not a big deal because everyone not new to the game knows what the 9 classes are, but just a very minor request. Basically these icons:

Love the HUD and especially the captions. I think I'm going to make this my new HUD. Thanks!

Inb4 only the heavy and spy icons are different :P

TwitchTVJohnthe peak concurrent viewership doesn't mean anything. There's tons of other metrics that are for more important. (avg time watched per unique viewer, total unique viewers, etc)

TF2 has grown a lot more than most anyone here realizes.
