#4 One plus one invite in Hardware

I think they sent a bunch out recently. I've gotten two in the past three days, and I've been trying to get one for 9 months.

#134 dave, take it easy on dem' pubbers in Off Topic

I think the big problem here is that dave interrobang rank isn't #1, it's currently 37, and we should all ubercharge and kritz him until this goal is reached. #SAVE_AC_DAVE_AC

#141 The Keyboard Thread (last updated Sep. 24, 2013) in Hardware

I agree the keycaps look miserable. The RGB keyboards are ugly imo. The design of the boards themselves.

The major gaming brands usually stray away from the less common switches. So you'll be stuck with red, brown, blue and black mostly.

I've been using topre 45g for 3 months and it's been wonderful.

Omron Roamer G switches.

45g actuation force
1.5mm actuation point (cherry mx are 2mm)
Light tactile switch similar in feel to mx browns

It's nice to see Omron entering the mech switch game.

#32 CEVO Season 6 Announced in News

That's what I also assumed, unless they piggybacked on fites like they did gxl. It would sense scheduling wise if they wanted to start early as well.

FITES lan being March 6th-8th, 8 week season ending roughly early/mid feb pending winterbreak breathing room.

#28 CEVO Season 6 Announced in News

Why not just push it back til january. Esea does the OH NO PAY UP HURRY NOW. Then 2/3 week extension, which generally, we've become accustomed to. To be honest, I didn't even realize signups ended until just now, and had intended on playing.

#29 Computer is Not Performing to Expectations in Hardware
Setsulsnip

The article you linked was written the day before they addressed that issue.

Update - November 14, 2013:
In an effort to improve our products for all of our users, we have updated the RM750 and RM850 to resolve this issue. The thermistor circuit that is used to measure the temperature for the fan controller and OTP has been changed in all RM750 and RM850 PSU’s moving forward. An additional resistor has been added that will result in the fan turning on prior to the condition that causes the PSU to shut down in the event that temperatures exceed 45°C.

I didn't say they did. They handle the customer service part, and whoever made the product does the repair(s).(in such a case)

I wouldn't buy a psu specifically for it either. I'm not trying to defend corsair as a brand, merely stating facts.

Noctua is the only pc component brand with an entire line of outstanding products. :3
