Luc, I think you're focusing on a facet of this debate that isn't as important as you think it is. No one here is saying it is specifically tri or killing's fault that the client isn't updated. If it is one man's job to keep a piece of technology updated, they should be the ones that are on top of that. What we ARE saying is that we don't know what the TF2 admins are doing. And you are no different. You can't say this:

if you aren't tri or killing. You're giving a lot of credit when one of the admins was playing DOTA during the 2nd most important match of the season. That is irresponsible at best.

We aren't asking them to communicate with us the status of the client. It really shouldn't ever come to that. The communication needs to be from the admins to the programmers. Outside of a late night update there is NO excuse that the client isn't updated. Valve has a service to give early notice on updates (that is how wickedplayer is so fast), and tftv is super active whenever there is an update. Even if the programmer doesn't keep up with it the admins should be on top of it and bother them over and over until it's fixed. And if admins are afraid of bothering a programmer to do their job you shouldn't be an admin of anything...

Mubby just go on reddit. I know they used to be able to sell keys but can't anymore, but the tutorials are still there. And you can probably find a key for like $20 online somewhere, just don't get scammed

Edit: feel free to add me, the guy I bought my key from more than a year ago still seems to be seeing them but more on the downlow... I don't feel comfortable linking it on tftv though, sort of an "approach at your own risk" situation
