#5 Terry Crews in Off Topic
TERRYCREWSWell, I've gotten on average, 6-7 twitch followers per day, and like 4-5 steam friend requests per week, ever since he posted his pc build video. I haven't streamed since early May, so I'm ok with this.

Did they free up your twitch name for him?

#20 Where is Darn? in TF2 General Discussion

Never understood how people can just simply move on. It's not like they sell their house and live on the road, they still have a computer and (probably) play other games. Do they simply just untick 'start Steam on boot'?

#19 Official Full Tilt i58 Fundraiser in TF2 General Discussion

Qualifier money not being put towards the LAN and teams using kickstarters for what is essentially a hobby.

Show Content
Reason, Nerdrage and now Crowns

A bloody wonder anyone has interest in sponsoring this game honestly. At least Crowns has a lot of presence in Sweden and DH in general, none of the others did (as much if even).

#253 MAJOR TF2 update for 7/7/16 (Meet Your Match) in TF2 General Discussion

Holy shit. This so-called casual MM is horrible. It's literally everything wrong with gaming today.

TF2 became popular because it's an easy-going shooter with room to fuck around. It's the straight opposite of CS:GO and other matchmaking games. You try so hard to win you either taunt or ignore people, and gain more from winning than not. You have 15 minutes to socialize with people you'll never meet again.

It's gonna be entertaining to see how Valve rolls all this back.

#2 can you be good if you dont watch tf2? in TF2 General Discussion

What does watching a pro teach you? How to play in the odd case that your personal play style fit theirs perfectly?

You can find examples of people who aren't the brightest but just play their main game 3-4 hours a day and reach a high level of play.

If something doesn't work, you stop doing it and improve. It doesn't take the commentary of a pro to understand that. At most you'll learn nifty tricks that'll net you 2 kills once a blue moon, but otherwise watching the last 5% of a player's TF2 journey won't teach you that much. Obviously it's a good supplement but not something I'd do outside when I eat and can't play myself.

#103 "Matchmaking will fail" - Muselk in TF2 General Discussion

You know, with all these pub pro youtubers talking absolute shit about the game they make a living off of, it's hard to not just deal with b4nny's downsides and settle with him.

That's both Muselk and Stabby with absolutely no idea about TF2. Who is left?

#119 Update speculation in TF2 General Discussion
JesseBurnSUSAltdThere's no way he can be serious about this...
keep in mind he mains med. he has an obsession with taking 1 on 1s. a friend of mine who used to heavy with him in pubs told me a lot about it.

This is some Quad-pistol tier logic. "Why shoot twice and do 80 when you can pistol and theoretically do 120 over 3 seconds".

The fact someone might actually take this kid seriously is depressing and a sign of how desperate the community is for an update.

#25 legend of zelda: breath of the wild in Other Games

All the gifs I've seen so far are about the physics and shit. Do people not realize if they put this much focus into something, it's probably gonna be 3/4 of the puzzles?

It's literally called BREATH of the wild, and most physic gimmicks so far are related to the wind. They really need to do it well for it not to get dull quickly.

#8 Stanford swimmer rapes girl and only gets 6 months in Off Topic

In most of the articles they write the details of his records and shit, as if it matters fuck all.

"What kind of monster would abuse a girl!? Oh, he's good at something. Well I bet she isn't, clearly it's for the better".

#15 RIP Christina Grimmie in Off Topic

Honestly surprised this doesn't happen more often. Millions of people in all of America, all it takes is one deranged hobo with a gun to kill someone worth billions.

That it'd happen to someone like her is a bit odd though.

#12 cp_cargo in Map Discussion

I love the verticality but some of the flat upright walls (probably there to nerf the large amount of high-ground) seem kinda odd. Most areas feel like trenches dominated by turrets up on key positions, rather than a two-layered style with a lot of opportunity for jumping around, and even at that the highground doesn't offer much.

It'd be really nice to see this keep a clinically clean style like reckoner. Half the reason these maps get stale is their depressing brown sunset style, and cargo isn't exactly unfamiliar in the TF2 universe.
