I wake up at 4:45 in the morning to get ready for work. If I can play at 9 CST, you certainly can waking up at 6 or whatever.

If your team has such scheduling conflicts that it can't make what is a well established time of 9-9:30 CST, you may want to consider not playing, or finding people that can actually play at that time.

Probably not, there aren't enough Open teams, unless IM teams are going to go play in Open, chances are dropping Main won't solve the issue.

It's not about the money for many of these teams, including mine, it's about giving CEVO a shot.

For better or worse, Open players have spoken with their wallets by not signing up their teams for ESEA and have chosen CEVO. Is it a wise choice?; We don't know, the season hasn't started yet.

But isn't that the point? The point of this CEVO experiment is that we ACTUALLY have a choice on what league to play in instead of just sticking ESEA year in and year out.

Before CEVO came back, we had two real choices in 6's: UGC and ESEA. That was pretty much it. UGC is a free league that is a great place to start, but the competition is minor. ESEA is a very competitive league where even Open can be a great challenge for even veteran teams that underestimate it, as seen in this last season's top teams having ex-invite players on the rosters.

So why can't CEVO be a middle ground? A place where the skill level is higher then UGC, but not quite up there with the upper echelons of ESEA? What's wrong with that?

What ESEA did was wrong, but I don't want them to die, but I also don't want this opportunity with CEVO to slip by the wayside so we actually have a choice where we play, and since I don't have the time to commit to playing in 3 different leagues (ESEA, my "for fun" steel team offclassing with friends, and my CEVO team playing my main) I'm going to choose something new, instead of the same old thing.

Fight's a pretty cool guy. While the team I was on with him didn't have the most successful season, he was a character in mumble and was always the last person to place blame, and tried to stay positive even when shit did hit the fan.

Now that he has a good computer, I'm sure he'll do more than fine on any low/mid open teams that needs a scout.

This type of thing doesn't solve any issues with sniper in mix

If someone is playing sniper to troll/ruin a mix, ban him during or after the mix. Problem solved

If a player is destroying the mix by being really good at sniper, to the point he can play it full time without hindering his team, maybe you should not stand in his sight lines and focus him down better?

At the end of the day, if someone's aim on sniper is sooo good in mix that he can completely destroy the enemy team, how much worse would it be if he was on scout?
