btw OP the 4100 may bottleneck a little from a 660 and beyond so i suggest upgrading to a 6300 or 4300

snailI would say at stock speeds the 660ti and the 7950 are comparable in performance. From reading other forums, the 7950 does seem to overclock better than the 660ti.
The 7xxx series also has a problem with frame latency which AFAIK, is still being fixed.
Dont quote me on the last part, it might already be fixed :c

The 660ti's 192bit memory bus is pretty limiting and not very future-proof. Might be a minor issue with next gen engines coming out soon. Just something to keep in mind.
the ti version is literally no more than 10% better than the stock 660 yet is over 70 dollars more. Just like the difference between the 670 and 680, if you oc the 670 it'll pretty much preform like a 680 and saves you a ton of cash to get whatever else you want like ram or an ssd etc
vileOblivionagewhy isn't there a disqualification rule like if there is proof that someone ddos'd someone else then the ddos'er should get disqualified along with his/her team (unless theres already a rule like that)
what proof?
admittance? if you can get the asshole to admit to it then couldn't u use that? i'm sure he'll admit to it in some way like a retard.

660 ti is overpriced to hell it doesn't even come near the 7950 and it is nearly the same price. get either the 660 twin frozr iii edition from msi or the 7870 ghz edition they both can handle games fine.
Can't wait for this :) hope there aren't too many issues with twitch
Did you update it or do i have to reinstall the hud because the hud broke
Damn I wish i could go but I'm too young :( Oh well I'm def. donating and rooting for our team :D
I wanna start pugging as well but i'm sort of inconsistent. i finally got my dm to a good level and my gamesense is up there but i'm afraid i'll choke and get my team fucked over lol (i play pocket)
Okay I suggest oc'ing slowly like 100 mhz at a time and see how the voltage and temps stabilize. try to get it to a very comfortable region and don't kill the cpu or shorten its life span. past 60C is playing risky even if the max temp is 75 because it opens up room for system failure and early cpu failure.
my friend has an a8-5500 and it plays tf2 200+ fps on max settings so don't worry about getting a decent cpu if you don't plan on playing other intense games.
If you were planning on upgrading in the future, get a new mobo. If you want to stay with amd get an am3+ socket mobo and a 6300 so in the future you can get an 8150 or 8350.
Idk how well apu's oc but from amd's reputation of very oc'able cpu's i'd say you could hit 4 ghz no problem but i should do some research on apu's first
if 8 is cheaper go for it but you're gonna have to mess around with a lot of shit because microsoft is gay.
W7 is easier to use and i like it better and when i build my computer i'm def. not getting 8 but it depends on which is cheaper for your budget.
just don't get linux *cringe*
fucking missing my scrim because of this shit. I'm so pissed at my isp my family is getting perfect internet as am i except i'm getting shit skype quality and shit tf2 quality. I don't mean to rage but I just wish someone could share their input.
edit: I played a singleplayer game on steam and now the problem isn't persisting
edit: what the fuck
network card? You mean what my ethernet cable is connected to in my computer? I checked and it looked like it was connected to some silver thing next to my mobo. I didn't see any card o.e
i tried both connections on the high fps config by chris and neither seem to be helping.
i have no idea what is wrong with my internet the net graph shows a good ping and choke 0 my in is normally less than or equal to my out is that okay?
