You need to get the casting essentials hud: https://github.com/PazerOP/CastingEssentials/releases/tag/r21
Put the hud folder in your custom folder > open it > go to resources > delete UI
Make sure the hud is ticked while you have the lawena launcher open amongst your other mods / custom folder items.

A lot of players would agree with your sentiment but this is all in vein if you haven't said a word to RGL admins or made a ticket. Especially this late into the season.
I don't see how posting on TFTV and crossing your fingers that an RGL admin would see this is helping anybody. Regardless of the levels of dissent.
GeneralNick...and that this is just the unintended consequence of how the Source engine deals with dropped weapons + Uber.
While it's a pretty daft gimmick. None of this is unintentional. Every mechanic that is used to make this happen is 100% kosher. This is not a bug by any means. I doubt valve imagined this strat but noone did and it's kind of unfair to use that as an argument for it.
Taiku's fix of removing any uber from dropped medi-guns is fine IMO. Banning picking up dropped weapons is dumb though.
ZestyAren't spy disguise health/uber percentage determined at the time you disguise or did they patch it so it changes now? Otherwise, couldn't you disguise as your med, take a trade, then have your spy activate DR and pick up the medigun to get another uber after the first one already went to 0? Seems more useful than a demo sac.
No. Spy drops an empty medi-gun. The medic uses, switches to the medi-gun dropped by the spy and then you switch back to your own medi-gun before the decay starts to take a good chunk of your remaining uber. The downside of this strat is running a spy.
If you are the type of guy like me that hates health as just numbers Fl4me Hud is pretty goated. I was a big health cross guy and this was a perfect HUD.
BX-Hud has centered numbers which is really nice for scout and opens up your peripherals to see bombers better.
Maybe the RoS were the friends we made along the way.
Way before I played comp, I used to be an extremely toxic pub lord. N word binds, pretending to be a sniper cheater to get myself kicked you name it. Ironically I hated comp players for being 'sweaty' despite being even worse (lol). I was bored and decided to watch a stream from Yomps. He was insanely good, especially from my POV but he respected his opponents, he wasn't toxic and was having fun. When his teammates would tilt, he would lift them up with his attitude.
I just saw how good of an impact he had on people and it made my edgy teen lookin' ass reflect on how much of an asshole I was.
I watched Taggerung later in the same week and they both quickly became two of my favourite players to watch when I could tune in.
Yomps didn't just inspire better players, he made better people. Reading the rip yomps thread is evident of that.

Anyone knows how to disable everything BUT the Killfeed?
Let me be clear, I want it to look like Lawena's "Kill Notices Only" HUD, but I'm using CastingEssentials to highlight the killfeed since I am using a STV demo.
And yes, lawena does recognize CE as a HUD, no idea how to change that.
I already tried several commands listed here but none of them work, specially the one designed for it: cl_use_tournament_specgui 0
CastingEssentials -> resource -> delete ui
Tbf as a viewer it didn't seem to make games go any faster than normal rulesets. Maybe I might change my mind if the stakes were much higher than a 3k prize pool. Though I didn't really notice a difference. I'm indifferent.
Edit: Pool is 6k, didn't know that! Wow! That's awesome. Though from watching previous tournaments (I series) or RGL officials I didn't really notice much more speed if at all. The only difference I did notice is more DM fests and dog fights because of the 3 minute panic. It also seems to favour defenders as well because you only have 3 minutes to deal with a heavy and engi.

You have what’s called artist’s syndrome. “Oh I’m not good enough yet to draw that I should only be doing learning exercises.”
You should stop worrying and just play because you will never be ready. There are shitters who play IM and Main, what do you have to worry about?
As Grape juice said, the best way to learn is to join a team; especially with a good mentor and full of people who also want to learn. Scrims and pugs will help you the most and imo, they are the most fun. Remember that routines like MGE, DM servers, aim trainers and the like are only supplementary. You shouldn’t fixate on them, that’s an easy way to get burnt out.
