#172 Fully Charged! Valve and Competitive TF2 - Episode 42 in Events
manaI'm sorry I made faces at the camera, I honestly just had too much energy and it was my first time on a talk show setting.

Played a couple hours of it tonight. Man, haven't had that much fun in a while. Only stopped because network issues arose.

#3 Witcher 3 in Other Games

I always wanted to get into the Witcher series, but was never able to get past the horridly slow beginning of Witcher 1. I heard that Witcher 2 was much improved over 1, though. So maybe I'll give it another shot because 3 looks so good, but I hate playing games out of order.

#4 ModMic Massdrop discount in Hardware

For anyone wondering, I can definitely recommend this mic. Been using one for about 8 months now, and I love it.
It may not *quite* reach the quality that the Snowball puts out, but it's definitely not bad.

#66 Dirty Bomb Beta Stress Test in Other Games
Gunbladeplayed a game where my entire team was skyhammers except me.

zzzzzz

we were on attack

This is one of my only real gripes so far with the game. Powerful things like Skyhammers airstrike, Arties artillery, or Auras healing station are balanced by things like cooldown normally, but when you have 5 or 6 people running them at once it's just stupid. Had to face a team of 5 Auras and 1 Fragger earlier. Anytime you'd catch one out they'd suddenly have 3 healing stations under them and be almost invincible.

That, and the healing station itself is basically an always ready QF uber, but it can at least be taken out with some concentrated fire.

#2 Yugioh is cool in Off Topic

I loved Yugioh way back when. I remember going absolutely crazy when I found out that they had an actual card game, since up to that point all I had known of it was the show. I never had any friends who played it though, so even though I'd get booster packs and make decks, I only very rarely got to use them.
The pride of my collection back then were the original actual God cards. My mom got them for me as a reward for getting my black belt in karate after 4 years in some youth-centered school. Silly, I know, but hey, 9-year old me wasn't complaining.

I was always disappointed that they never made an actual card set out of those armor cards that what's-his-name used against Joey at one point...

#82 TF2 update for 1/27/15 in TF2 General Discussion

I'd like to chime in on this update as well. When the Steam Broadcasting feature was introduced in beta, being in the Steam Beta *at all* would cause my TF2 to become incredibly unstable. I was lucky to get past the initial launch without freezing.
Reinstalling TF2, verifying files, restarting my PC, none fixed it. Opting out fixed all my issues.
When broadcasting was brought to the release client, the issues came with it. I found a strange fix in running the game in windowed borderless(Ran in fullscreen before). Now, for some reason, with this update, I'm having almost the exact same issue. I launch the game, either normally or joining through a friend, and the game will go non-responsive within 5 seconds of launch.

I'm going to re-install Steam to see if it fixes it, but if anyone has any advice, I'd be glad to hear it.

I don't use any fps configs, I have verified files again, I use CBHud, and my launch option are as follows:
-novid -sw -noborder

EDIT: Reinstalled both Steam and TF2 again, completely vanilla, no custom stuff. Still crashes 5 seconds after launch.
EDIT EDIT: Never mind, seems to be an issue with my PC running literally any Source engine games. Which is weird because my TF2 was working just last night. Oh well.
