Had this huge FPS drop like 8 months ago now. Initially when I built my PC (last Oct), was hitting just shy of 1000fps. Now I'm lucky if I get 100 in a midfight. :/

Don't necessarily search for a 'desk' as such. The one I'm using now was referred to as a 'table' in Ikea.

Hey guys.

So it's that wintery time of year again. I run an active EU orange_x 24/7 server and I thought it would be pretty sweet to add a few tweaks to suit the time of year.

Will happily provide TF2 items (maybe a couple keys or something) to someone that could do a few things, including stuff like adding snow, changing the skybox and lighting so it's looks like it's nighttime, throwing in a random christmas tree or something and other random bits and pieces. :3

So yahh. Basically just looking for some 'basic' (? - assuming it's basic since theres only a few things I'd be looking to get changed/added) editing to be done to a specific map. Hit me up on Steam if you can do it within the next day or so and I'll provide specifics on what I'm looking for etc.

Recently obtained a pair of Brainwavz HM5's. Hands down they are the most neutral yet clear headphones I have ever used. Where there is meant to be bass, there will be bass. No forced, muddied bass or ear raping highs (unless of course whatever you're listening to involves ear raping highs...ahem...).

For $180, I picked the headphones up with a FiiO E11 portable headphone amp, aka my 'bass box' (from MP4 Nation).

I wanted something neutral, mainly for the sound clarity it would provide and I'm incredibly happy. Whenever I do want a bass overload, just plug in the amp and bam, lifes a good 'un.

Sold my Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth (brown switches) and ended up buying a Noppoo Choc Mini with Black switches.
One of the best decision I've ever made. No fancy schmancy stuff. Paid £55 and got a banging keyboard. Black switches are (imo) much better in terms of gaming and general typing. I had a habit of accidentally pressing keys, but with the increased force required for blacks, that's no longer an issue. It took a couple days to get used to, but I'm happy with the change. They're also as silent, if not more so than the browns (there is no 'feedback' in terms of a 'click' feel to them); I'm soon investing in those rubber ring thingies (forgotten what they're called) to quieten key presses even more when the keys bottom out.
There are Brown versions, but the only ones I could find were around £300+ for whatever reason.
Crap tonne of hotkeys and what not.

So yeah. Noppoo Choc Mini yo.

Just a suggestion, but you might want to reduce the viewmodel fov down to 70 when recording for a movie - otherwise for some weapons/classes bits of the character disappear/don't reach the edges of the screen (most noticeable with medic and scout) and hands appear on the edges (most noticeable with soldier when shotgun is equipped).

I played a demo of it at Eurogamer. What I played was purely the 'ship-fight' segments. From what I played and saw, they get incredibly repetitive. Can only hope that the rest of the game makes up for the lack of enjoyment I got from what I played.

And upon closer inspection, it seems I was wrong. The same problem IS occurring with rockets too. The rocket itself is not present, only the particle effects around it (it wasn't obvious to me since the yellow flames/trail of the rocket hide the actual rocket 90% of the time).

So yeah, having an issue where stickybombs aren't showing when I playback a demo (for recording). The only thing that appears is the particle effect that goes with the sticky (that is the red/blue glow around the stickybomb and the explosion when the sticky is detonated), but not the stickybomb itself.

Those 2 red 'dots' are stickybombs. I have tried playing different demos, but all have the same problem. It seems the problem has occurred after the halloween update; I tested demos which were working perfectly fine before, but they are having the same issue now. Is it something my end or is it said update which has just fucked with the demos?

All other weapons show up perfectly fine; pipes, rockets, pellets from shot/scattergun etc.

Need to try and get this fixed asap.
