bobmusAlso I'd love a gametype that was Pilots only - by far the most fun part of the game.
This has been a regular occurrence over the past year or so, with each update screwing with peoples FPS more and more. Back when I built my PC I was hitting a comfortable 750+ fps on a full 20 slot server. 4 months down the line and it chunked down to around 300 overnight after a single update. The update that followed reduced it a further 200fps, putting it around 100, sometimes dropping as low as 60 in midfights (and this is in 6v6 games).
Since then I have reinstalled TF2 onto my SSD and although it's helped with loading times (as you would expect), my FPS is still significantly lower than what it should be.
Whilst that's not much to complain about on my end (some people play with much less and are a fuck tonne more skilled than I am), it's pretty dumb how updates have somehow made such a large difference to some peoples fps...
Perhaps as Benson said reinstalling Windows will fix it, but I haven't got the patience to do that so guess I'll be sitting tight for a while...

PlatypusG-sync is not for quake or tf, its for games where you can't maintain a stable, high, framerate.
So TF2 then, especially after all these damn updates...
