SylverSherb"Wrong place"?

I assumed that, since my HUD is working, it's in the right place.

You have to redirect Lawena to your custom/userstuff folder, otherwise it will replace the resource and scripts folders in common/Team Fortress 2/tf which will crash TF2 since that is supposed to be left untouched.

How would you go about redirecting Lawena to do that?

#1 Custom skyboxes? in TF2 General Discussion

Alrighty.
So I used Lawena for some recording. Initially I wanted to use a custom skybox (specifically skybox56 in Lawena) in all the clips. When loading the demos, it all worked perfectly fine until I tried to load up snakewater demos. For some reason the custom skybox just refused to load. I tried various custom skyboxes on a number of snakewater demos with no difference.
Anyone got any ideas why this may not be working?
Is there a simple way to edit the map files to allow custom skyboxes to work on snakewater?
Looked around on google etc, but the only programs in terms of map editing and alteration of skyboxes no longer seem to work with map files (for whatever reason). Or am I just going full retard and missing something here?

killemdeaderI think a lot of the criticism here is based on people's preference and not really constructive. I thought the entire video was very well put together, the song complemented the effects well. I don't think the style is in tune with the majority of the community unfortunately, they'd rather see brighter colors and poppier music, like poppier hip-hop or some sort of electronic.

True. That said, preference does to an extent dictate quality and give a better idea on what people enjoy watching allowing me to improve. I tried something slightly different and some people like it, others don't. The next movie I do will by no means follow the "norm", but will hopefully more in tune with what people enjoy. Hopefully I will be able to get higher quality clips across the board and take into account the points people have made.

What use is picking the enemy medic 3 times in a row just a he spawns, or single-handedly wiping the enemy team on granary 2nd? And getting fancy airshots and shit? So pointless.

also chill out with the film burn and you can bump the offset up a bit more to bring out the colors more, the film burn really did NOT go with the colors and shit

Yeah. Syncing is something I need to work on. I think I was just getting too annoyed at other minor things that I dismissed the idea of adding more syncs (I would still argue I have synced, just perhaps not in the typical way - not that it's necessarily "good" syncing by any means...) in an attempt to try and actually get this finished.

As for the film burns, yeah, definitely overdone it somewhat. I altered the colours of the film burns and the best fitting were blue to pinky-red shades. Problem was they made it look too monotonous. Next best thing were the yellows to red so that's what I settled at.

CruzShould've corrected your STV footage though, really stuck out to me.

Corrected in what way? Are you referring to the snake airshot or the killstreaks taken from STV where the kill feed only shows the darkened backgrounds?
