No I am not using custom sounds or models. I deleted all the ones I used to use about 4 months ago so its not that. Any other ideas that anyone can come up with would be greatly appreciated.

Recently (before the Halloween update) my scattergun reload sound has been messed up. It is extremely staticy and takes about 3 seconds to play. I have changed from Chris Max Frames to M0re's, defragmented the game, verified the game, and reinstalled multiple times and it is still messed up. I have looked around and could find a solution or even anyone else with this problem. Any ideas on how I could fix this?
It seems to be working fine now. I switched to a new hud instead of gmang. Verified and defragmented my game. I'm not sure if it actually fixed it but I haven't crashed since I did this. It seems to have worked but if it isn't permanent I'll try some more suggestions but for now it seems to have worked.
Edit: It is definitely not a permanent solution. The crashes came back.
I don't think its my hud because I use gmang which is what platinum uses but I do have a garmen "+" crosshair added to it. I don't feel like that could be the cause but I'll try and remove that to see if that stops the issue.
No I don't have any wait commands. I just went through and checked. My configs for my classes are just my mouse wheel binds and the viewmodel being on or off with viewmodel fov 90 for all of them.
I am just starting to get into competitive TF2 but when I try and connect to pugs to get better, I crash. In servers without the competitive mode (timer, rule set, or scoreboard) I almost never crash. It happens a good 80% of the time. I have tried changing options in my configs (max frames and custom ones for each class), launch options, resolution, and have reinstalled both TF2 and mumble. Any ideas on how to fix this would be great.
