allea bhop macro never hurts

bhop macros use the wait command, and it doesn't work on sv_pure x servers.

YouMustMikeNope, too hard to be useful outside of some weird jumps.

Admirablebhop master race

just bind mwheelup and mwheeldown to +jump

Already did that. But do you have any tips with improving consistency? I'm also having trouble gaining jump distance using it.

#1 Is bhop worth learning? in Q/A Help

I was just playing in a lobby, and our team had a Spy that had perfect bhops. I watched him, and he got to some ridiculous spots that aren't possible with normal jumping, where nobody would look. I specifically remember that he kept going to this one spot above a door (http://youtu.be/TdKnbkYiidA?t=40s). With bhopping, you can jump quite a bit further, and I saw some videos and there are all sorts of ridiculous places b-hopping can take you. I've tried to learn it myself, and I've realized that its pretty hard to get the exact timings. If you get the exact timings, you can also remain in the air after rocket jumps, which allows you to get multiple crits with a single jump (using the market gardener). After a few days, I wonder if its worth learning. It seems like it'll be like learning c-tap; very time consuming and frustrating. If yes, can anybody give me any tips? I can consistently chain about 5 (Using the rocket jumper sound as a guide), but then it kind of falls apart.

#20 Screen Tear? in Q/A Help

Okay, to limit your FPS to 121, type into console: "fps_max 121" When you aren't on a server. Hope I helped.

#18 Screen Tear? in Q/A Help
smobofun fact: limiting to 60fps on 60hz actually makes screen tearing worse, cuz the tear will be consistent instead of appearing randomly. imagine a horizontal line across your whole monitor all the time, moving slightly every frame... it's so distracting

before you ask "why not just sync the 60 frames to your 60hz??" that's called vsync and we all know it causes lag.

Not true. If it makes it worse, then it's a completely different issue. Screen tearing occurs when you have two or more frames in a single screen draw, therefore making it impossible for screen tears to happen with vertical sync. There are a few special cases though. V-Sync can't directly cause lag, only waiting for frames w/ V-Sync can. Go get your facts right before posting BS information in a Q & A Thread.

wacdownpouryou could just limit your framerate to 60 if your monitor is only 60Hz, couldnt you?
hz =/= fps

having 60hz is not the same has having 60fps

Having too many Frames for your monitor to display is the main cause for screen tears. Would obviously solve his problems, assuming that this is a normal screen tear scenario.

I personally have MSi Afterburner to always limit my FPS to 121. I've heard from some competitive CS:GO Player that the best FPS Cap is your monitor's refresh rate * 2 +1. I don't know if the information is valid or not, but it works for me just fine.

#29 I got VAC banned and it was a mistake in Q/A Help
CatgrooveSo I was scrimming with my open team and I got VAC banned after around 20ish minutes. I'm 100% sure i don't hack and the latest change i did was edit my interp

I messaged steam support and i got an automated response:

"If you have been VAC Banned, the ban will not be removed. "

So now im kinda wondering if anyone out there can help me out with this, is there anything I can do? If anyone has any experience with this I could use a point in the right direction.

I'm not a hacker and I just want to get this all cleared up. Thanks

Same thing happened to me a while ago. I just started spamming Valve with rage, and they lifted the ban.

#24 How do I improve my Spy Movement? in Q/A Help
TwistedDon't use idiot proof weapons like DR and Spycicle and you will eventually learn how to not die every 15 seconds while still killing people.

I pretty agree with this 100%. When I'm in lobbies, I use the Invis watch, and it doesn't stop me from surfing at all. I've personally learned that Spy is a very low priority target, and if I can sneak in with an Invis Watch undetected (Unlike the obvious as hell DR that makes targets expect you, and makes every2 less vulnerable) easily allowing me to pick off high-priority targets, along with the occasional Pyro and happenseverytim Heavy. I also think that having a second-life machine isn't going to make you better, but instead more sloppy and less careful.

nopePlay the other classes, you'll improve your aim and movement faster while getting a better sense of how those classes will react in specific situations.

I can use the revolver just as effectively as I can use a shotgun, and my Amby aim can consistently kill people that aren't scouts. I'm a noob, but I still have 1,000 Hours, a Steelseries Rival, and a mid-low DPI. I honestly think enemy reactions are very obvious, and knowing the general enemy positions on the map is much more important.

#11 How do I improve my Spy Movement? in Q/A Help
Twisted"Hey guys how do I improve my gameplay as X class? I am doing really well against valve pubbers and I only do flashy things like my idols do in their frag videos so that I can one day make my own frag video and bask in e-fame."
"What do you mean use the already existing community resources? That would require effort, spoon feed me please."

I really think you're missing the point of this. If people were to take all of their best moments and just go compile into one video, then anybody could look like they're better than Acooma or Stabby. Also, if you really think there is one, go and show me a detailed guide on movements. Pls do. I intend to use movements to help me escape sticky situations in lobbies when many people are searching for me.

#7 How do I improve my Spy Movement? in Q/A Help
CasualAs a side note, this forum is generally for competitive TF2 and 6v6 in particular. Just a heads up that questions like this don't really get much from being posted here.

major thakns. The most helpful thing I've gotten from this. tbh, playing spy on lobbies is ezmode and all you need to do to be "good" is to backstab the medic and keep him dead the whole match.

#1 How do I improve my Spy Movement? in Q/A Help

Hi, I'm a noob Spy. As of now I can Matador, Stairstab, Understab, and Cornerstab. I don't have too many problems trickstabbing people on pubs/lobbies, but I noticed that a lot of really good spy players that far exceed me (Acooma, StabbyStabby, Zeigon) are able to dodge attacks and move into better positions a lot more effectively, and they can even do trickstabs besides the usual ones. I've also seen that they can handle mobs of people and chain all of their stabs together more fluidly, while I can only pull off trickstabs one at a time on a single target, sometimes missing matadors. I'd like some tips on how to improve my movement so I can really take control of aggressive opponents better. I also have problems trickstabbing more passive players that don't give chase.

Thanks in advance!

If you're 100% Serious about buying a gaming keyboard for FPS Games, I recommend Tenkeyless'. The ergonomic improvement is massive, and you can find fairly affordable mechanical ones too.
