play demo jump maps and get good at them (be able to hit t3/4 jumps consistently). sticky jump maps get you good at aiming stickies, and when you are good at aiming stickies you will want to use them more often.

Shoutouts to blokes I didn't know all that well before LAN but ended up being TOP GENTS (ascend, troy, ties, frysk, cyanic come to mind).
Shoutouts to bubbleman and kimo for subbing as doughy mentioned, and also shoutouts to giova, kireek and fish who didn't get to play as much as they would have wanted to / at all.
