#39 Why are you still here? in TF2 General Discussion

TF2 mechanically and at it's core is a pretty great game. It does things that other shooters still can't compare and don't really have(that includes OW). Although the competitive style/format of TF2 is the only thing I can truly enjoy as there is far less chaos, randomness, and lag while it is also more organized, skill-rewarding, and fun.

It's also nice to stick around to see what's going on time to time and seeing what Valve does(whether it may never be enough or good enough). Sometimes there are interesting topics also and drama stuff(which I think tbh a lot of people have sticked around for forum-wise) to read.

And of course, the comp TF2 community that I grew up with years ago and known has always been an amazing one overall. The players, the contributors, the people who make things happen, and the many great moments we had was always an amazing part of it all. While there may always be some bad apples, there are always the good apples that make this game still fun to play. The community is more of a home compared to some other modern game communities, it's indeed a lot more special in a way.

#11 Chill game to play while listening to music? in Other Games

Quake games, Hearthstone, Diablo 3, StarCraft 2, or etc.
Aside from the team modes, games that are not highly dependent on you communicating to a team member of some sort should do well.

#52 MasterNoob  in The Dumpster

Wait so you got banned for doing something in a "harvest pub" ? Assuming that means you did something in a non-TF2C related environment and got punished for it in TF2C. They continue to reach new levels...

#70 TF.TV Quake/CPMA Group Revival in Other Games

It's back. Challenges North America 2018(CH-NA 2018)! We had some amazing the past few events the past few months since CPMA got updated to 1.50(after 7+ years!) including a nice NA event we had where a QL/QC player known as vdmk/vedmedik took the win after only a few months of playing since January!

This is an NA players only event. Which means for you NA players, you won't have to worry too much about ping or having to play on EU servers. We will have players of varying skill levels including high, mid, and low. This isn't a one day cup, it will be a bracket where we play 1 round each week so people will be able to have time to practice some maps and essentially have scheduled matches(which means if you couldn't make it on that one day, don't worry!).

We already have a few NA TF2 players here that are/will be taking part so I hope you guys join in on the fun or even watch the streams. Also, it's possible that CPMA 1.51 will be coming out quite soon so things are definitely getting more exciting this summer. Check out the PlusForward link below to read up on all the details on how to register. If you want to get started on getting into CPMA and starting out, come join the CPMA Discord.

Event starts: May 26, 2018.
Map List: cpm1a, cpm3a, cpm15, cpm22, cpm23, cpm24, pukka3tourney2

#10 Team Fortress TV emote suggestion thread in TF2 General Discussion

With no offense to the players of the emotes that aiera shown above, but they do seem a bit too silly and not that fun/cool to use overall. It was good for a long while when the channel was first starting out, but I think there can be better emotes that would be far more fun to use. I'd get rid of the 3 googly eye emotes at the least/as a start and putting in something like kritz, airshots, headshots, or etc. into emote form.

#113 Competitive Matchmaking Discussion in TF2 General Discussion

I wish we could at least cap our fps in comp MM(or is that working for everyone else?). Honestly, they should've added a fps cap setting in the Settings by now, just like plenty of other settings that we want to use in comp MM.

#13 KovaaK's FPS Aim Trainer Launch Trailer in TF2 General Discussion

KovaaK's a great player who also helped with povohat's QL accel driver I believe. I wanted to try it out during the beta times where you needed to paypal him but glad it's coming to Steam already. Definitely think it's worth a try, KovaaK has shown to be a competent person that I would expect make a decent simulator.
