good sandvich has to do with timing and awareness. if you can throw it exactly when your medic needs it without too much overheal that is nice. if you can throw it out to a teammate and then regen it back before your medic needs it that is also nice. if you can toss it with good aim that's style points. and lastly the timing of it -- if you pull it out, those are precious seconds where you don't have your gun out and aren't revved so you better do it at the right time.

FeskirSo, all in all, it's an alternative to scrimming, not to matches?
So perhaps that's yet to come?
I see it as an alternative to matches, not scrimming. It seems like way too much work just to get some extra practice in, plus most teams like to experiment or try new things in scrims because they don't count for anything. This runs counter to that. I think it's a good way to play a match whenever you want in a way that counts but has really low stakes.
It seems like there will be a lot of leagues/competitions/ladders competing for your team's time next year.
nicely done -- it looks great
a drop of 20 FPS is not what I'd call insane...
you're streaming. it's going to happen.
capping FPS helps with inconsistencies won't help with the low end of your FPS range but is still recommended. are you playing in full screen? use obs game capture.
I told her that Rick is a fuckin baller
my sister looked at my phone over my shoulder and said "why are you looking at pictures of guys taking bathroom selfies"
@platypus
I understand the concern about the custom lens but I haven't had any issues at all. I personally like the LOD decrease, and haven't had any issues regarding inconsistencies. Then again, I use a solid black mousepad (Qck) and haven't tested it on multicolored surfaces. I used to use a Qck+ Fnatic ed. but the orange and black colors messed with my CM Storm Spawn (old mouse).
i think i'm going to buy the noppoo choc mini tenkeyless with red switches because i'm in the mood to try something different and i like the layout of the F keys compared to my current keyboard, which has an awkward gap that puts them farther away from the home row.

anyone have any thoughts on this? also should i buy o-rings? random thought but besides noise reduction, o-rings might increase APM because it would shorten your keystroke?
lvl 69 on steam
Looks good. Shows players, date of match, score, and change in points. I like it.
As long as it remains casual then I suppose incentive for cheating will be minimal...?
Just to be clear on how this works -- there's this ladder and it ranks teams and so you can challenge any team on the ladder and if they accept then you duke it out on a private server and then you report the scores to MLG?
So this is pretty unofficial/casual then right? Cause there's no anti-cheat/admin team/oversight committee? What about the small stuff like who's server do we use etc?
If you're brand new you might just check out the MyGamingEdge videos.
They have some useful stuff for beginners.
