WaldoI'm assuming the reason why I needed to use 3rd party software was that this monitor had no default settings which involved a high refresh rate, all the 3rd party software did is write to the driver that a given resolution/refresh rate was "safe", which made the option come up in windows, nvidia control panel, etc. I've managed to go up to 160hz @720x480, after using a TFT panel with 20ms input lag, it's wonderful.
This is exactly what you can do with nvidia by default.....
KoalaIdk, hit me with a stick but I think Lansky doesn't even nearly get as much credit as he should. I'd pick him over Mike this lan, wouldn't over Yuki though.
And as to that whole voting thing etc, it's been like that since forever, people voting for names not performances.
Yes, he was pretty good. The only player from HRG that actually seemed to perform well enough to live up to their reputation.

nvidia allows you to set your own custom resolutions and timings, I don't know why you need extra software to get it to work?
Next time try arranging these things beforehand. If you had plans to do this anyway, why not put the word out earlier?

What half did well? The only one doing well was Lansky (regardless of his PSS). None of the others stepped up. They didn't play bad at all, but could have been better for a team that has dominated ESEA.
