I feel like the gripe here is the point could have been given by saying hl and 6s/invite rather than hl and good. The HL ender is good at hl which is the topic of this thread. It may be teammate bias but those are my two cents.

Unfortunately when it comes to Highlander specific guides, I don't really think there's too much for demoman. You can maybe find a blog post about highlander loadouts or an explanation on positioning that's similar to a 6s one, but that's about it.

Right now a mentor would be your best bet, but I'll be attempting to make map specific guides for highlander demoman soon if you really want some videos to watch or some text to read.

The Loose Cannon doesn't need a ban. As soon as someone gets in your face, your life is pretty much in the hands of your teammates since you can't really kill them without killing yourself in the process, unless you're able to push them back but they can still come back later depending on team positioning and junk (frag > bought time). It's good for far away chokes but that's about it; it's pretty much the reason why most demomen don't use it.

For me personally, there are just too many moments where I pull out the loose cannon and wish it were pipes so I can just kill the guy once and for all. Kind of a side-grade imo.

I don't know about other potential poll teams but I'm pretty confident HBS wants to go invite. Just 'cause most low invite teams die doesn't mean these will for sure. I know I'm not gonna spend 85 dollars to not ride out a full season, at least.

This. The only way to kill him is have him counter sniped since anytime you try to walk close to him, you're immediately stared down since he can see both major sight lines almost immediately.

It doesn't matter how the fence is changed; whether it's removed, shortened, moved, or whatever. As long as the end result is snipers can't rotate left and right super quickly while using the rock for cover at the same time, we're golden here.

Nu will improve pretty fast on a low open team, so consider giving him a try if you're in need of a medic.

Has the drive to improve stronger than anyone I know and is very down to earth and modest. Practices non stop and has really good dm. She deserves a good team this season.

I use the Steelseries QcK Heavy and it's pretty satisfying. The only complaint is about a year (maybe more?) in I wore out the middle of the mousepad a little bit, which screwed with my mouse gliding, and thus my aim. It's not too big of a deal though since the pad is only ~$20.

I think he's saying the fact that of all of the people starting on our team, Ibby is one of two people who aren't playing ESEA this season. That and the fact that Ibby uses the Soda Popper.
