bearodactylmakes sense given how few alive teams there are but RGL def shouldve made it more public (i.e., message every team leader) if they were cutting playoffs size in half, people should not be getting surprised late into the season that their expected playoffs is now not possible due to a last minute change lolTery_SpaceCadeti have to agree with this 100%. No reason not to have the playoffs with the top 8.

Yes the div finishes with only 13 active teams but the top 8 teams all have positive records and like bear said, there is plenty of time to play all the matches for 8 teams. IMO, seems like a poor decision for 4 teams of players to not got a shot at playoffs and paid the money to compete.
Get the fuck outta here. Why should teams barely over .500 get to play in the postseason? Why should nearly 2/3rds of the division go to playoffs? Why should it be top 8 single elimination compared to top 4 double elimination? RGL finally makes a good decision about playoffs for the first time in seven seasons and people complain about it.

I agree with both, I think they should've warned but tbf, advanced is probably the hardest climb of all divisions. Going from low advanced to high advanced is like going from low invite to top of invite, despite the small amount of teams, the difference in skill is DRASTIC
