CarlDPI is a gimmick. Gaming mice in general are gimmicks, unless you find one that really fits your style.Basically if you spend more than $30 on a mouse you are a fool, because the technology is the same behind all of them, you are just spending money on ergonomic design and name brands.

slideJackyLegsiM vs HRG Showmatch coming close to i49 and the i46 doco maybe?Never seen iM play, would love to see it happening.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SM44eKtleK4&list=PLkdRxllWJy4Pv6lXRGO8Ng-WGqn_RitD4&index=29A showmatch would be nice, but at the same time I don't know if it'll happen. Plainly for the reason that iM may just want to keep everything on a low-down before i49. No one really knows a lot about them and I'm guessing they'd want to keep it that way. Also, ping issues are a bitch, (unless you're Yuki).

Ping issues are a bitch, but I thought that Australia to USA will be less of a bitch rather than Europe to USA / Europe to Australia.

TaroWall of personal prefrences.

Listen mate, the picture is truely meant to help people figure out which ones you would want to get, which ones has the best reviewes, which ones has the least problems, which ones can provide you so and so.

This doesn't tell you to buy the mice just because it's listed there, it tells you which one most gamers, or whoever used these kind of mice like which one the most, it ranks it not because one is heavier or one is lighter, it ranks it by reviewes, and by least problems, and by sensors.
You can find an example for that in the "Good Tier", it didn't rank it by how big it is, or how small it is, it ranked it by its actual doings.

Also, who the hell can check out EVERY mouse out there and see which one your hand likes the most? seriously, what you said is purely personal prefrences.

In my honest opinion, your hand doesn't need to fit the mouse, the mouse has to fit your hand.

The picture purely tells you which ones are the best not based on, how light, heavy, lift off, software, price but on actual testing them out.

You can bring a million cases of different people using different mice, but bottom line, this helps you understand which are really the best out there that you can count on.

And if you want X and Y on some mice, you need to google it and check which one has them, as this young fella said, these are mices that he can google and check what he wants in a mouse.

apacusually what dpi do I need?

I believe that the link that there is in the picture can help you with that
Here
Just put your in game resolution width and press calculate on the dpi section.

For example, I use 1920 x 1080 so I put in the 1920 in there, I clicked calculate and got 796.2052421257972 answer, which means 800 :).

Razer Synapse lets you set your own dpi on (some of) their mice, but seriously it means 800.

Also, it can be your personal prefrence aswell, don't always "need to use" stuff, just what you like, that site helps you on what dpi would fit the best but seriously, you should try messsing around with it.

#45 Mousepad, help me choose one. in Hardware
darkk-I've used the QCK Heavy and Puretrak Talent but the Puretrak jittered on my Zowie FK, so make sure your mouse is compatible with the Puretrak. QCK+ Heavy is nice though, more friction, used by a lot of professional players, can't really go wrong with it.

Well, I believe there was a guy who commented here about having the DA 2013 with the PureTrak Talent, saying it's a great combo.

And I'm taking his word on it, and will try it myself :), the Qck+ Heavy is an option, but I just feel like the more things I read about certain pads, the more I felt that I need to go with the PureTrak.

Zowie FK is a great mouse, a buddy of mine told me that he had problems with his FK on the QcK pad, so it really comes down to personal feeling or something that happened with the pad.

#42 Mousepad, help me choose one. in Hardware

It's funny how the PureTrak Talent costs more on Amazon than it costs on the PureTrak site, also I just found out that the Razer Goliathus doesn't deliver to my adress (from Amazon).

Price of the Normal PureTrak Talent = 41.33$
Price of the Special Edition PureTrak Talent = 41.44$

So I have decided I will go with the PURETRAK Talent Special Edition Cloth Gaming Mousepad - White.

Why special edition? SINCE I GOT DE $$$(11cents extra LMAO), and it looks pretty ^_^.

Thanks guys.

x3Razer is overrated.I guess they made a good mouse, the deathadder, but i personnaly feel it's too light.Iv had a mouse and a keyboard from them and the quality of the materials they use is very low.As an exemple, i think the Razor Blackwidow is poorly made. (Cheap plastic for a 100$ keyboard)Would not recommend.

I can disagree on the DA 2013 being light, it's a great mouse for a reason.

Razer does make some shitty quality stuff (almost everything) but the ones that they make good, i.e DA 2013, Razer Megalodon, it's completeley worth it.

Also, the Blackwidow is pretty decent yet extremely overpriced, and since the keyboard section is so large, it really doesn't need to have a "gaming" tag next to it to make it a good keyboard, you can buy a 20$ Microsoft keyboard, and it'll be ok, as long as you like the way it feels, and it doesn't break after a 2 weeks, it's a good keyboard.

apacAll of Zowie's mice are too expensive, as with razer. That leaves the g400.How good is the scroll for the g400? And what's the deal with the cord?

The budget that you got yourself there is pretty low, if the Logitech G400 is the ONLY option, then try saving up a couple extra bucks, Logitech G400 is great, don't get me wrong.

But if I were you, I would choose a mouse over its quality, reviewes, etc' rather than over its price.

Explore all your options out there, you don't want to regret buying a mouse after a month.

Because I used the Sensei for a while back ago and I found that the accel doesn't effect it THAT much, it's annyoing sometimes, but it's worth the money.
Oh and I'm glad I made an invite br0ski medic chuckle tihiehie :D!

dan_cThis is a bit off topic, but what is the general consensus on aluminum mousepads? I kind of have a "thing" for metal but I don't want to buy it if its some novelty garbage.

One thing I know about aluminum mousepads is that they get all sorts of scratches on it and it kinda feels bad moving your mouse over it, my brother had one, was good and all, didn't move at all, and was pretty solid at the first month or so, then it just felt fucked up :(, it was a SteelSeries btw.
