Ctrl for everything but Soldier. With Soldier I use RMB because otherwise my pinky starts to hurt after jumping a lot, and no Soldier weapons (that matter) have a secondary attack anyway. It's super comfortable.

...and an interview with Ghost Games that confirm that this is a reboot(?!) that goes back to the roots of the series(?...) by combining elements of Underground and Most Wanted in an open world (yeah, those are not the roots of the series).

Now don't get me wrong, I quite liked Underground and Most Wanted and I'm sure at least some of you did as well - the age group that has nostalgia for OSRS and has a modest thread on it here probably somewhat overlaps with one that has played those - and I really want this to be good (maybe I'll even get it down the line despite Origin charging me in euro for some fucking reason... INCLUDING VAT). But "robust and emotionally engaging story"? I shake my head every time I see that. Also, that unbelievably unnecessary reboot... ugh.

I can't fall asleep to music unless I've been running low on sleep before and the music is really boring (I fell asleep to The Sword once... enough said).

I do usually play some ambient to get me drowsier before bed, as with a sedentary lifestyle you tend to get lots of spare energy left at the end of the day (inb4 fap joke). I'm playing the Limbo soundtrack now for instance; it's got one noisy track but you can skip it.

If you want more great ambient, here's a chart on Rate Your Music for the genre, dive in. From that chart I'd probably highlight the albums by Stars of the Lid, Biosphere, The KLF and Tangerine Dream as good sleep music.

EC Evos are definitely for palm grip. When I bought my EC1 I felt weird using it at first, partly because of the rubber, but mostly because I used a grip closer to claw and didn't do the research. Eventually I adapted to it and use a palm-ish grip, so it feels fine. Then again, I play at sensitivities that a serious FPS player would cringe at (4-6cm/360), so don't take my word for it.

I bought mine two years ago, and while it doesn't have much wear, it also doesn't get much use since I'm on base most of the week, so YMMV. Bottom line, I'd recommend it.

I couldn't buy things on the Internet before TF2 went F2P so I kept watching TF2 promos, Chozo raging and Criken's Prop Hunt video until it did. Around the time of the Pyromania update I started shitposting on /r/tf2, and it was there that I saw a Sal cast. Over a few months I slowly transitioned from watching Sal to watching TF.TV (when Fully Charged migrated here) and lurked obsessively on these forums before finally registering.

Highlight: I watched almost the entirety of i52 live. It was glorious. (Until the curb stomping of Epsilon in the finals, even though I usually root for b4nny's team.)

I still haven't played a single lobby or pug to this day; I don't have the time and my Internet is always acting up. Say hi if you happen to see me on a (European) Valve server trying to play with 150 ping when I should really be getting 70-80. muh airshots

With only ~20% raised in two thirds of the time allotted, the Kickstarter campaign is expected to fall through; the game will be released on Early Access instead, since it got through Greenlight.

Too bad I don't have the kind of money with which I could buy an alpha of an unproven arena shooter just like that. Good thing my support doesn't make or break the game's success, because I really hope it succeeds.

Yeah, apparently now Twitch discards the audio stream for a VOD altogether if the copyright content detection is tripped; that's no simple muting anymore...
