Mandarin should clearly be the language of ALL TF2.
It's the perfect universal second language. Relatively easy grammar, already spoken by the majority of good players in eSports (Non-American), tonality of language adds appreciation of the world around you.

There is definitely a difference in scale of the amount people get harassed normally and how much people who aren't white guys get harassed.
Irrelevant of thick skin or not it doesn't make it okay to harass someone for being female/trans/black/gay etc. etc.
And to centre people not having thick skin as being the problem over the people doing the harassing seems a little weird tbh; we've literally seen quality players/content creators like Tagg pushed away from the game due to this shit and I think it's wrong to say it's his fault for not having "thicker skin" over the people doing the actual harassing.
