A school in my district got put on lockdown a few years ago because some guy was walking towards the school with a double barreled shotgun that he wanted to take to the metalshop to get it sawed off LMAO

The police got word from a resident in the area that there was just some dude walking around with a weapon. The school got word from police that he was around the area. When we get word from police all of the doors get locked immediately. if we heard gunshots then obviously we wouldn’t be doing yoga or playing baseball. Everyone inside the school was 100% safe during the lockdown.
I don’t really like how people in my school handled it (we could hear people in other classrooms) but it really wasn’t too big of a deal because as long as the dude is outside of the school, everyone inside is 100% safe.
Also apparently the SWAT team showed up
This is at the end of the day too so parents are just waiting outside to pick their kids up while the police are just around lmao
