not tf2 general discussion sorry everyone but discord embeds will break after like 2 days it doesn't matter if the image still exists in your discord server the link will still die.

imgur posts automatically upload as hidden so are a fine option to not randomly be uploading images for strangers. its not intuitive to get a link that will embed properly (so many people on here just click the "get link" button and that link does not embed) so here's a quick guide

1) go to your post, right click the image and open in new tab (dug up something random from like 6 years ago):

2) copy THIS url and and embed using TFTV embed feature

3) boom your roster from esea season 30 intermediate as emojis will now be embedded unless imgur somehow nukes their links in the future:

guess the div will be undergoing a pretty big change in production going forward. the timeline for episodes the entire running of the show has run has followed the flow chart of: record an episode or episodes -> lupin or maven crunch to edit it within a week while also having irl commitments -> maven goes and collects more clips -> rinse and repeat. it has lead to burnout from the production staff with the workflow being as it has been.

for "GTD season 2" as maven is calling it, the visual template for episodes will be changed, and episodes will be recorded in quick succession but released much much farther into the future to allow minimize crunch on the production side of things. my job as the host is the easy part, it only takes like 20-30 minutes for me to record an episode, but editing and clip farming is tedious and the team thinks this change in the workflow would benefit us significantly.

streamable now has paid plans for their service, and videos now only have 90 day retention for the free plan. im sure if you have a streamable account that has been inactive for a while you have been getting emails saying they will be deleted due to "inactivity" as well. just something to look out for if you have uploaded lots of clips there to post on other avenues (tftv, discord, etc)
