im not really fluent in the config/modding space but surely we can mod something in that fixes the viewmodel switching when watching a pov demo as well? like you used to be able to put tf_use_min_viewmodels "" into your auto exec or whatever and it would keep your viewmodel settings from changing with whatever your config was when you were playing the game. i think the update that broke huds in october also intentionally patched this out and its pretty annoying when trying to record stuff.

modders take note? or maybe theres a new bypass for the command that people came up with in which case pls share
