whats the solution im very stumped

there's no such thing as running the powerplay when you're spending the whole thing getting checked at the blue line.

this entire season without Backstrom, the capitals have still been great 5 on 5.
- 6th in the league in goal differential (+26, despite the 4th worst powerplay in the league)
- T7th in the league in points% and T5th in the league in regulation wins

take a guy from the other team off the ice and suddenly they're chasing the puck back to their end for an entire 2 minutes

idk how many other people watch the Capitals but its incredible how we're 35 games into the season with a 15% powerplay - struggling every night to get into the offensive zone 5 on 4 and the coaches haven't decided they need to draft up a new play to get into the offensive zone. they get stopped at the blue line every time. every time.

this team has Ovechkin, Backstrom, Kuznetsov, and Carlson. 15% on the powerplay. so frustrating to watch.

the more i think about how long ive been in the scene relative to the age of the game the less I feel like a “zoomer” and more of a millennial or maybe even a gen x’er, ever since clockwork was talking about “boomer tf2” and how far back the scene really goes on his top 100 reviews

TLDR give a season/year range to define “generations” within the scene similar to the “generations” of age groups in real life

-modern exp share with original D/P's level curve lmao how do you fuck up that badly
-360 movement in a tile-based map lmao
--- switching to d-pad when this matters doesnt even lock you to the grid, so you're gonna be offset from wherever ur trying to go regardless which all adds up to the worst feeling pokemon game of all time
-i disagree with mustard i really like the chibi overworld/usual battle style sprites and think its charming and cute in a vacuum. i just think it lacks polish and looks bad as a result
-platinum dex is exclusive to the player in the underground (LITERALLY WHY)
-affection is the dumbest mechanic of all time

+elite four has items and EVs/IVs n stuff thats pretty swag
+jupiter is a baddie

all in all the child inside of me that grew up with gen 4 is very disappointed
