Winger
As someone that used the Winger for alternate flank routes, this plugin just made it way worse than the default pistol. That roughly 1-2 seconds it adds to get anywhere is just not worth giving up all the firepower the stock pistol offers. From my experience playing Soldier, it barely ever was a problem except in one situation: you and the scout are low HP and he starts Winger jumping backwards while shooting you, which is still possible by the way. I think just make it do no damage at all. To stop the people abusing scripts, just make the swap back to other weapons slower instead, if that is even possible.

Gunboats always apply
I think this plugin is fine, but it definitely needs some adjusting. Before it was scouts torpedoing into soldiers so they kill themselves - now it's Soldiers going kamikaze mode, jumping onto people and point blanking them.

Med scout speed
It's too early to say anything about the flow of the game. Teams are inconsistent and still trying out a lot of stuff. The real test is W1 and W2. People will play more carefully in officials and that will show us how much the pace of the game has changed. Apart from that, it did nerf pocket scouts and focussed spam on doors is more powerful now because the medic can't walk in at mach 10. I don't mind this plugin at all, but I have to agree with klassy. I feel like playing a different TF2 than other regions doesn't makes sense long term, even if an international LAN is unlikely.

Thank you Wiethoofd. I finally got around to try it, unfortunately it did not work out and the issue is still persistent.

I'm using a Sunshine POV demo from this game:

Opening this demo will result in a game crash and the following error (right side in the picture)

Before the game crashes, I'm able to see that the game is trying to load metalworks (shown in the left picture)

Also, I uploaded the demo hoping somebody can help me resolve this problem

LupusI was told you get banned for saying Pingas when Wiethoof was in the tftv streams. With disbilief I spammed PINGAS over and over again a grand total of 5 times ( each time getting a timeout) before I was perma banned on TFTV and Kritzcast for saying the flithy word. I whispered Wiet the nword on twitch, than a genie apeared and said he'd grant me 3 wishes.

Some of what I said didn't actually happen, can you guess what it was?

Where the options seem to be whether or not to *test* the plugin, so the test is yeah just throw it on for a season?
Regardless of your actual opinion of the changes, that seems really odd to me, although i may have just missed something.

So going by this graph, how was the medic attach speed removal approved?

MakAlso it's probably unfun as fuck to play against specifically as Scout, and yeah "haha scout class in 2020 is OP"

Personally, from my time playing both classes, I can say that it can be annoying on Scout sometimes but its even worse on Soldier because that -100 HP just makes you stop existing in a fight. Not to mention the rollers that basically explode next to you near instantly if the Demoman happens to actually miss the pipes somehow.

Voxibecause better positioning in fights is often more important than the pistol dmg.

People underestimate how strong the pistol actually is. Contrary to popular belief the pistol is extremely easy to use on anything except other scouts. The scout secondary is a pick-your-poison scenario for other classes. For Scouts, it is a preference thing - I'm almost certain that in NA the majority of scouts use the default pistol, whereas in EU it feels like the Winger is more popular.

In my opinion the problem with the scout class stems from other things: it is the Medic-Scout-Speed and the issue that six bullets in the scattergun clip are extremely forgiving, especially because the reload speed is also incredibly high and that scouts dont sacrifice ammo for mobility, like soldiers do. I'm all up for banning Winger if the other stuff gets banned aswell, but unless changes happen to either the clip size or the reload speed of the scattergun, Scout will still remain the strongest class in the game.

These r like the only unlocks that add more to the game than they take away, and even then some of them are contentious. Iron Bomber should probably straight out be banned now that it's confirmed straight upgrade (I'll forever hold the L for telling people it was just placebo for the past 2/3 years lmfao).

I think from the current whitelist, only these should be banned for being a straight upgrade to their stock counterpart

#4 demo crash - bad inline model number in Q/A Help

I did some more troubleshooting, and I'm pretty sure the issue is that the demos in question try and load up metalworks regardless of what map was actually played. Older POVs load their map normally. I don't really have any custom files apart from my masterconfig, HUD and hitsound. The hitsound is the most recent change, however I tried loading demos from before I changed the hitsound and it still gives me the same error.
So basically, according to console, the game is trying to load the wrong map for these demos. I tried renaming metalworks to gullywash, unfortunately that didn't fix the issue and now I ran out of ideas. Any suggestions are appreciated.
