I'm not sure if your talking about getting a server to play on or using a server for the streamers to stream to for twitch. If you're trying to do the latter just use this tool to find out what server gives you the best ping.

You really don't need more then TF2. You can use Steam Mover and/or install games in a different directory with Steam now. Enjoy your SSD!

Something that helped me is if you go into RealTek HD Audio Manager. From there go into Device advanced settings and in the Recording Device tab make sure you have Separate all input jacks as independent input devices.
