#26 Faster maps? 3-CP? in Map Discussion

As a viewer, I feel if the map is too small then it won't showcase the game well. TF2 has very distinct classes with very different skill sets. A larger, 5 CP, map with different points really does an amazing job of showing this.

I do agree that matches can run forever, especially best of 3's. I like the idea of a 30 minute time limit. The stalemates can be a little boring but so can a match that takes over an hour. I know they don't use unlocks but the EU seems to do really well with drawing in viewers. Just yesterday they had almost 1k viewers on twitch for a match. I'm not saying it's because of the time limit but maybe this is something to consider.

#4 Need new headphones. in Hardware

I'd go with open cans if you have a somewhat quiet environment. You hear everything.

kirbyWhy do people have keyboards with different color WASD keys?

I bought it used and it came like that. I think it's silly but it was a lot cheaper then buying new so who am I to complain.

I've owned a DK w/ Blues. It's a solid board. The smudgy effect is a little annoying and ABS keys are kinda poopy and prone to wear but not bad.

Steel Series are okay but I'm really not a fan of MX Blacks. Far too heavy, even for a linear switch. I'd really recommend reds over them for gaming.

Filco and Leopold are probably two of the more popular brands.

#11 Zowie AM or SteelSeries Kana? in Hardware

Unless you're left handed, I would go with the Zowie EC1/2 eVo over the AM. They have the same hardware and the only difference is the shape of the mouse. Zowie EC1 is close in shape and feel to a deathadder and preferable for palm grippers. Zowie EC2 is a little smaller and better for claw grips. A couple of things that set it apart is the native 1000 Hz polling and you don't need to install drivers to change the dpi (meaning you won't have to deal with crapper drivers).

I had the deathadder for 5+ years and just recently got a Zowie EC2 eVo and I've never been happier.
