A lot of the core members of the community have stuck around throughout the years. I've been playing on and off since ~2009 and I still think it's a great game even though I haven't played in a while. There's a lot of groups that organize playtimes as well.

Didn't Crack Clan Yellow run Rabbit (I think it was him?) on pocket pyro for the majority of the season in open S15? You might be able to find some demos or something if you want to see some pros and cons if finding people to scrim against is difficult.

Whoever you're shooting a sticky at probably wouldn't be too close to it if you wait a full 2 seconds to det on them.
