I'm surprised no one made any victory blunt jokes.
I mean they are High Rollers Gaming.

#40 Why do you play TF2? in TF2 General Discussion

Because it's a twitch shooter, it runs on a stable engine that I am already used to playing on, and it's more movement oriented than most.

They picked Gullywash as a stalling strategy knowing the servers wouldn't load right map version.

ESEA Recaps

In addition to the fantastic coverage by the teamfortress.tv live casts, ESEA is posting results and detailed recaps of every match at LAN. So if you missed one of the rounds and want to hear what happened, go and take a read!

Since rk is in asia, and djc is sitting this one out, we have called in our third-string writer to cover the event.

My recaps can by found in the "LAN S13 TF2 Melee" found here
http://news.esea.net/tf2/index.php?s=news&d=comments&id=12617

It will be updated after each match is completed and the recaps can be found under the "LAN Content" section.

#116 National Day of Silence in TF2 General Discussion

I see the word faggot as being simply hateful and agree that it has no place being used by players or anyone for that matter.

Rape on the other hand, I don't know. It has a real purposeful meaning and is not a derogatory word. So in the court of law is an adult going to 'show the judge where the bad man touched you', no they are going to say rape! It enforces the seriousness of the crime and has its purpose.

Sure while playing a game of TF2 it doesn't make a lot of sense, but we can't just shun people for using it. It's like saying we can't say 'alcoholic' or 'drug addiction'. It might be a serious topic, but that doesn't mean you have to react every time you hear it as if they are targeting you.

#67 Opinion on Mice? in Hardware
flynn__1. Abyssus - Good claw grip mouse with a good sensor. Lift off distance is a tad high but not a huge problem. The shape is very very small though and if you are used to palm grip you won't like this mouse at all.

I feel like Razer gets a lot of crap for having flashy gimmicky mice, but the Abyssus is actually really simple. It has a low arch, symmetrical shape, and is pretty small. Great if you have smaller hands. The low price is just a bonus, highly recommend it. I went through two Deathadders before it, and I prefer the Abyssus slightly due to its size. Only thing I don't like about it is that it collects dried sweat from your hands on the glossy finish.

#78 those of you with quebec flags in Off Topic
snailyou only need your browser

What really? Don't I need to use an external app to monitor the outgoing packets, capture the correct one that is sending the edit request, and then re-send one with new post data to change my country to the hidden flag value of xx? Firebug is only for user-side edits, but I found both "Fiddler" and "Tamper Data" can.
