song reference really harnessed their dogshit awful tftv posting for this win
I think I'm one of the few people who thought faceit prolander was fun. I also know for a fact that around ~6 players who were introduced to comp through faceit prolander decided to make an RGL team and also try sixes. I can't say that running the sixes queue instead during those weeks wouldn't have also enticed people to sign up for RGL, but I think people are making prolander out to be actively harmful to sixes... which.... proof?
The bones of it were good but due to the volume of players being so low, mid-skill games didn't exist and players level 6-7 would go from one game playing with pubbers and the next be playing with soapymeister and watterson, which was quite jarring. I'd like to see something return because the platform was pretty solid and required way less forethought and effort than running inhouses (which we do with those same players who got introduced to comp through faceit prolander).

Necroing to say I ran into this watching dingo's LHTF2 lan demos. If anyone else runs into this it fixed for me when I swapped from ahud to broeselhud. Odd.
I probably would have found this more annoying if they swapped off spy before the demo sac but in the instance clipped they're down a demoman and on spy rather than soldier after the swap. They really lack any way of stopping the other team from pushing into mid after the sac. We (blue) didn't really capitalize off this because we we're too busy arguing about whether or not they even popped LOL!
edit: also a good way to inflate uber logs, i approve.
Ds3 and Elden Ring feel nearly identical but if you think for example ds1 and sekiro or blood borne feel or play the same you are just lost
disclaimer: i'm open
The last seems absolutely brutal to push into. With a soldier on the high ground covering the far doors a la metalworks and a demoman with a beam up his ass covering the middle right door + gun + sniper I don't see any way to get a quality sack into last. I would be curious to know what made you decide to make the door shorter on last because the way it is now last looks harder to break than process or metalworks.
My second concern is the positioning of the health packs on mid. Generally there are not health packs that close to the point on sixes maps save for perhaps process--but the way process mid generally plays out it's very risky to go for those packs without catching brutal amounts of spam if they're paying attention. On subbase mid the packs are in locations of relative cover and simultaneously extremely close to the point. I think this would lead to very boring mids where they would be decided by health kit respawn timings.
These were the most glaring issues to me but I would be curious what a better player with more experience would make of it.
