I have the custom server box now, but I have this problem where the fancy sign and design for the in-game messages go missing. I think this is because of the mainmenuoverride.res but I don't know how to fix it.
I have reinstalled the HUD and it worked fine again.

Executive15Could you maybe change the background for the main menu? It doesn't really seem to fit the style of TF2.tophuI'm not sure if there's a less redundant way of doing it, but here's the way I do it.

1) pick your image
2) convert it to a vtf through VTFedit
3) go to your \team fortress 2\tf\materials\console\ folder. if it doesn't exist yet, make the folders
4) move the vtf you made here and make a few copies of it, renaming each one to:

background_2fort_widescreen.vtf
background_gravelpit_widescreen.vtf
background_mvm_widescreen.vtf
background_upward_widescreen.vtf

and you should be done. it feels pretty ugly doing it this way, but it should work just fine

Another piece of obvious advice is ditch the hacks. Not only is the community aware of it now, but if VAC actually starts to pick up on it. You'll regret it, maybe because you realized you could've done decent if you put more effort in, or maybe because you'll lose that expensive unusual, the choice is up to you.

I haven't watched the entire video yet, but from the bits I've watched I noticed you don't jump in the water when you're on fire. Jumping in water or simply throwing your mad milk below your feet will extinguish the fire. As for your question between mad milk and pistol, it's all up to you, which ever you feel more comfortable with.

what does this have to do with your stream request dude?
Because it would have been something I was streaming. so the stream request isn't really important anymore.

Wait, so the only reason you didn't stream it was because you weren't listed on the tf.tv twitch group? That seems like a silly reason to stop streaming entirely.

Speaking of competitive, 6s isn't the only format for it. There's also this thing called highlander, there's 1of every class per team and plays a couple different maps than 6s (though some do overlap such as viaduct) if you think you'd be interested in that you could join a highlander lobby at rc.tf2center.com and if at any point you would wanna join a team go to ugcleague.com and post in the lft forum for Iron.
