I don't see too much of an issue with it personally, but I can see where people have problems with it. I guess building a relationship between two characters from scratch and have it develop and blossom into a relationship that keeps the viewers entertained with it is pretty difficult. But, with a sister / brother relationship, you can usually assume that the two are comfortable and have some of the "requirements" needed to build a strong bond between the two already supported or existing due to them being related. While it is easier to build it off of this, it also makes the relationship have mixed opinions from the viewers, and usually watching a relationship develop and build feels much more worth it. Just my 2 cents
