Razer Arena has a good base to build a league around. They have their own servers, match mod, and a decent website layout. STV relays are still on the to-do-list but they did have automatic log and stv uploads working for some matches.

Kinda sad that not many people signed up for the Razer Arena tournaments and therefore have no idea how good the match support was.

Animate vs Serpents needs to be verified (it was a draw as both teams took one map each). Items still haven't been refunded from that game. It was casted on TFTV so there isn't a real reason to punish anyone who bet on the game.

Both Danger Dogs games today will be casted on TFTV. Really hoping my items don't get locked up for the next 3-4 days even though the match results can be watched live or checked via vod. Heck even logs provide better verification than a fcking screenshot (you can check each player's steam id in the log).

Can NA admins not verify European games?

Razer has plans for larger tournaments but without decent participation in smaller weekly events it won't happen.

Basically sign-up for the FREE weekly tournaments unless you want to prove that comp TF2 can't even fill a 16 team bracket. Rosters restrictions are relaxed (ie you can add players at almost anytime to your roster) and entry is free. I don't even actively play anymore but I still signed up for the dates I could play.

Razer has run 10 tournaments so far for TF2 and done so for both EU and NA.
$100 x 10 tournaments x 2 regions = $2000

Sign-up a pug team or get ringers and fill up the tournaments. If the bracket is full you're less likely to run into the 2-3 im/invite pug teams.

Razer Arena has good server quality, esea style server plugins, and excellent admin support (Dillusive owns). Matches start fairly quickly and there's less downtime between matches.
